We received a warm welcome from the hosts and enjoyed meeting our friends for pre lunch drinks in a bright comfortable back room. Staff were generally very helpful and ensured that we were seated in a quieter part of the restaurant to accommodate one of our group who is hard of hearing. The menu offered a good choice of food however it is a little over priced in our view for the standard of the food served. We will return because of the ambience and staff approach in the hope that we are more pleased with the standard of the food next time.

The selection on the menu is very good with a reasonable selection of dishes. The service was excellent even though the restaurant. was quite busy.

Lovely atmosphere in the Red Lion with open fire and nice lighting. Tables are well spaced and the welcome and service was as warm as the fire. Menu choice great, food nice, well cooked and enjoyed by all.

Have been to the Red Lion as always food was very good, different menu but again thoroughly enjoyed it.
