6/10The waiters do not know their task areas. We were served by five professionals. It went how it went - not going to return for a dinner. Breakfast works well.

10/10have been using this restraunt on many visits to the cliffe bay hotel over the last 15 years. Always a pleasure to eat there. The service and quality of food is second none. Look forward to many more wonderful meals and evenings in the company of this superb restraunt

8.5/10Payment services need to be improved! Two-times I choose local currency but the charged me extra for chosen my home-currency. I checked double and was surprised that the payment services did not work as described. Fortunately the services worked well at the bar.

10/10We made reservations at the Rose Garden for our first evening in Funchal, and it did not disappoint! The view of the garden and ocean was spectacular, the service was excellent, and the food was incredibly flavorful. I would order the Chicken Wellington regularly if I could. Would highly recommend.

10/10It is one of the BEST restaurants on the island. I enjoyed it many times when I was visiting and staying at the Cliff Hotel (see my review of the hotel), and we always enjoyed the food. Now that I am a resident, we still enjoy going back. For a reasonable price of 49 Euros, they offer a set menu that changes daily. Check the Cliff website for the daily choices before making a reservation. This comprehensive meal includes a starter, main course, and dessert. Considering the quality of the food, it's a great deal. The hotel boasts a two-star Michelin restaurant upstairs, a testament to the exceptional food quality. Beyond the food, the service is of the utmost quality. The staff is very attentive and will always make you feel special.
