Staff are very nice and friendly; the vibe is very good; and the tea kit look gorgeous! Savoury is refreshing, scone is lovely and with perfect size. I just wish I have another stomach :) The signature tea is comparatively not so impressive but still not bad.

If you are looking for a tea time experience, The Rose Lounge is a place to be. The people is very friendly. The sweets and pastries are delicious, Price is is superved.

Beautiful tea room. The staff was amazing and so sweet to our two daughters (9 and 11). When we booked we had no idea it was inside the Sofitel but we’re pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend their holiday tea with champagne.

We had a fabulous time … would highly recommend it. We started at 1pm so had the place really to our selves, by the time the lounged filled - we were finishing up so perfect timing. The staff were very friendly and never rushed us. The staff advised they have a number of themed teas planned for Christmas and New Years so we are making plans to come back.

We were helped by Olivia, the hostess, who was so sweet to make sure we received all of our sweets courses in time to make it to a show after tea. She was the nicest and most helpful! Thank you!!

Hermosa experiencia, la pasteleria,la camarera que nos atendio, el orden, la vajilla, todo hermoso. Los teas. Planeo volver pronto. Lo que si, el primer paso, tardo demasiado. Unos 40 minutos. Pero todo fue fantastico

The ambiance is great. Beautiful space, but the service took forever. The staff looked lost and overwhelmed, with the place half full. The table behind us waited so long that they left before they received a bulk of their food. Had to box it up themselves too, no help from staff. Good does not come all at once, as at typical afternoon tea. It took us over an hour to get our first food item and over 1.5 hours to get all our food; and that was only after we had to complain. After we asked how long the remaining food would take, the waitress told us it was a 2 hour experience and kept telling us this is what it is. That is ok, but you need to consistently serve food during that 2 hours… that is not the case. Great room, will not return.

Had a fabulous time! The food, service and location were all perfect. Loved the selection of savoury and sweet courses, and the attentive waiter and chef could not have been more helpful and informative. They made a special effort for my birthday as well , bringing a special plate with extra goodies! Tea and champagne were great as well. Overall, loved the whole experience!

Beautiful room and presentation….a whole variety of delicious flavors. No rush and the head Tea sommelier - if that’s the correct term - was very knowledgeable and fun to speak with. Definitely recommend!

The finger sandwiches... weren't finger sandwiches. I booked the afternoon tea on the strength of the 'french onion soup' finger sandwiches. Sounded very interesting and delicious, but what we got was a tepid bowl of onion soup. There was a crab pastry (not a sandwich) and a tart (not a sandwich). Mini scones were ok, but jan was really runny and just ended up all over the place. The pattisseries were ok. One was a tahini thing. then a pumpkin thing. The tarragon and blackcurrant macaron was weird tasting. Given the 'french twist' to afternoon tea, I was expecting choux pastry, like a mini eclair. Dishes looked super-pretty, but overal underwhelming.
