Calamari slighly over done, Sea Bass over cooked which dried it out, which was a shame as it was a nice dish. That said, service good and puddings great

The restaurant was very quiet upon arrival. We were seated quite quickly. After taking our drinks order, there was quite a wait, maybe there was a staff shortage? After the drinks arrived, we were looked after very well. The meals we ordered were enjoyed by everyone. I was satisfied overall with our dining experience at the Roundhay Fox,and would recommend.

I booked a table for 4 people, but there were actually 5 of us - that was no problem to the helpful chap who seated us. We were looked after by Abbie, who was friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our meals, and 4 of us opted for the hot drink & mini pudding to finish, all of us going for the crumble and custard. On being told there were only 2 portions left, 2 of us opted for the chocolate brownie, and we were very agreeably surprised when we were given the full size version of the chocolate brownie as an apology to us for not having what we had ordered originally! Abbie then kindly split the bill for us so that we could all pay separately. Excellent food and service - thank you!

It was great to be back at the Roundhay Fox We we’re up at the end of Sept visiting relatives and came in 2 evenings Over the past 15 years we have often popped in for a meal The only problem is choosing what to eat which is why you have to come in more than once !! Great staff always friendly and helpful

I have been going to Roundhay Fox for many years and they never fail to disappoint me. Everything was great. Food was good, service was excellent and love the cosy ambience with open log fires. My friends and I enjoyed our lunch and we will definitely come here again.

The waitress who served us was excellent and really tried hard. Food quality was mediocre and I am being kind. the worst was the fish cakes which tasted of nothing at all that resembled fish - just potato.. The poached egg was on the first try a boiled egg which was hard and the second attempt was no better and it took nearly 15 minutes to get so the rest of the meal had gone cold. The very helpful waitress admitted that the chef has no idea how to poach an egg. Great as it is part of the meal. As you can see from our assesment we will not be returning and it is our local.

This is ok, no better no worse. Service by people was good but you have to lay your own table. The Stone Baked Pizza tasted good but was over priced. The burger seemed dry and the chips were good but not many of them. I didn't enjoy the screaming kids but I know that's too bad at lunchtime. A nice place to meet, food so so. All average stuff.

Great service from friendly staff.ive eaten here lots of times.this time I was a little disappointed in the limited menu,I understand the covid situation can affect things but some of the food was not the best quality and covid hasn't brought the prices down.

Went for lunch with our 4 year old granddaughter, lovely restaurant, nicely decorated. Staff very attentive and friendly. The food was really tasty, very good menu for children. Would book again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They offered a bowl of water for my dog both inside and out. The food looked fabulous and tasted as good. Waitress service helped us with uploading the app. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
