We really enjoyed our family roast dinner. Being 14 of us meant lots of opportunities for things to go wrong, however the meal, service and everything were perfect. Thank you to everyone at the Saracens Head for looking after us - we will be back soon!

Lovely food - staff attentive. Was very quiet (we were inside on a hot day by choice) so that's the only reason for 4/5 on ambience. Could have done with some music etc.

A smashing little place. I had an issue which was not dealt with and happy to share this with the venue. It did not spoil the meal overly. Servers were very good and food very good.

Very good trip yesterday. All three of us had the fish & chips which was wonderful. Fish was excellent quality, hot & well presented with tasty mint pea puree. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Will visit again.

Good food and service in a nice environment. Long wait for one main as the chef forgot to cook the sauce with it, but once arrived, it was very tasty. Will come again.

Everything very pleasant thank you and I would visit again. Only irritating aspect was all the emails and texts beforehand. Someone a bit too keen to exhibit their IT skills

We have visited here a number of times however the food has been very disappointing recently. The portion was half the size it used to be, paid a ridiculous amount for a very very small amount of salmon and undercooked veg. The only saving grace was the dessert.

My memory of the Saracen's Head will be of poor service and below average food. The roast beef was gristly. i would prefer to forget the whole thing, but will remember it when the (high) credit card statement arrives.
