Last night we had dinner with 2 friends, I must admit it was my first time and surely be the last time, the service is excellent, but the food .... we order the Fruits de mer 'Seafood Bar' for two persons and oysters. ..the price is too much for the poor quality of the products, overcooked shrimp, langoustines and lobster, clams were sandy .. a disappointment, although I must say that both the waitress and the chef, behaved very well and "sorted out" a little bringing another dish ... A disappointment,it was not a good experience as I expected.

Nice!
Had a French bouillabaisse and Zeetong.
Perfectly cooked.
The Barolo was exquisite
Service was ok, young personnel did their utmost.
Experience lacks a bit...but I don't want to piss acid here.

Full swing!

So, I was recommended this place by a friend. I went here for lunch with friends and I have to say it was extremely busy but the wait time was not much.
The ambience is casual modern. The food was great - We tried almost all the starters and they were great..quite fresh. I also tried the gambas but it was a too greasy and a little tough for my taste. The service was good.
So , i went again and this time it was bloody mary's and oysters and it was fantastic!

I want to try this place out for dinner and see how the ambience feels during evenings.
For now, thumbs up for lunch!

Loved it. Had a great night out with my daughters.
The oysters were wonderful. Sadly there was no sushi for my youngest - which was advertised on the website. But the seafood salad was delicious - and enormous.
The wines were great and the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing. We had to queue to get it but it was worth it.

Went to the Seafood Bar last Saturday around 20:00. Didn’t have a reservation. We had to wait for half an hour at the bar, because the restaurant was packed. Me and my boyfriend took a seat at the bar, ordered a bottle of Sancerre and some bread with garlic butter and just relaxed while we where waiting for our table.

The waiter brought us to a table on the couch in the back of the restaurant. If you are looking for some privacy and peace of quite, this is not the place to be. The restaurant was buzzing with people, but we liked that.

We ordered a bottle of still water to go with the wine, Marie Stella Maris. 6 Gillardeau oysters to start with (€ 24,50) and the cold Fruit de Mer platter for 2 people with the King Crab (€70,-). We asked if they could leave out the snails and the razor shells, because we don’t like them. This was no problem.

The food came after 20 minutes, unfortunately with the snails and razor shells, so we sent it back. The waiter apologized and asked if we wanted something else. He suggested some sashimi and salads, we where fine with that.

The Gillardeau oysters where the most expensive ones on the menu, but they where worth the money! Tasty, nutty, salty, sweet flavor. For me, they where a bit too cold. I think if they where less old, the flavor and taste would be better.

For the Fruit the Mer platter we got:
4 legs of King Krab, which where a bit too salty for me. It’s a real shame, because the flavor of the King Crab itself is really good. I would recommend boiling the crab with less salt.

1 Lobster, 4 slices of tuna sashimi on seaweed, vongole, crab salad (really good one), mussels, baked shrimps in garlic (cold), 6 boiled shrimps, 6 boiled crayfish (which tasted really sweet) and 4 other oysters.

The oysters where less cold then the Gillardeau and tasted better. Maybe it would be better to put something else then oysters on the Fruit de Mer if people already order oysters on the side. But that’s just a tip.

It was already 21:45 and there where still people walking in for dinner. After our lovely fruit de mer, we asked for some wipes to clean our fingers. I expected to get a bowl with water and lemon, but this was also fine. We didn’t order any desert, because all the good stuff was already finished so we ordered 2 cappuccino and a glass of Baileys with ice. We left the restaurant at 22:45, totally at ease and full. It was a lovely evening.

Total bill € 140,- including tip for two people. The food was more then enough.

I gave the service a 7, because there was only one waiter working that night that gave excellent service (dark guy). The rest looked really bussy, walking around hastly the whole time.
