7/10The food was good. I had a tasty Bangers & Mash while my friend has a good steak and kidney pie. We started with a decent cheese plate. The problem? The service...or lack thereof. When we placed our order, we ordered the food plus two pints of lager. The appetizer arrived in 5 minutes, but 30 minutes layer we had to hunt down a service person...anyone... to ask about the beer. The pints then took another 10 minutes to arrive. The appetizer was hurt by the absence of a beverage. In our 90 minutes at the restaurant, we barely saw a service person. if that can be fixed, it'd be a decent little pub.

10/10The service we have received from Shakira, George and Habib was superb. Our food was simple but delicious. For dessert we indulged in the apple crumble which was very nice too. Overall we had a really enjoyable evening in the Stablehand.

10/10We’ve been a few times for Sunday lunch and love this spot. The roast beef special is delicious, service and space all good. It is right by Hyde Park so a walk after is a must. The stables in the Mews give you views of the horses coming and going.
