A delightful evening with great service and really, really good food. We can’t wait to return! We ate the Camembert and salmon starters which were delicious and fresh, followed by the steak and Christmas burger, again both very tasty and cooked superbly.

Nice little pub, good beers, friendly staff. I asked for my Steak rare, it came out medium-well-done, and sliced up. A bit disappointing. Didn't want to make a fuss as everyone seemed friendly and hard working (and I was hungry). :)

Having just moved into the area, we looked to the Suffolk Arms to be our "local". First impressions were excellent. Good quality home made traditional pub fare with some dishes rising to fine dining levels e.g. beetroot cured smoked salmon. Service very attentive. The only downside, on a cold rainy December lunchtime the pub was a bit cold when the English pub tradition is a WARM welcome!

We came here briefly last year for a drink and it was like a sports bar, not our thing at all. We were walking in the Suffolks thinking about having a glass of wine and we discarded the Suffolk Arms from our previous experience. However, on walking past, it was immediately evident the place had been decorated/updated. Curious, we entered and were delighted with the difference under new management. Lovely decor and great food (we booked a Sunday table two days later). Please do not overlook this place, they are friendly, the atmosphere is nice (as it could be in current circumstances) and the food is great and reasonably priced.

Lovely pub, newly refurbished to a high standard. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced, nice to find somewhere that does food on a Sunday evening!

So glad we visited this pub. Excellent service. Lovely meal. Friendly staff. All very clean and safe. We really hope the new owner has lots of success with his new venture.

Although the menu wasn’t extensive, there was a decent selection and very much quality, tasty dishes. Love the new decor and ambience, and genuinely friendly staff who are attentive without being intrusive. 10/10 from us!

Just moved into the area and came across this great pub only been open a week. Friendly greeting from the staff very attentive and did not have to wait to be seated. Good choice of drinks and excellent food a small menu but enough for all suit all tastes very well presented with a bit of flair from the chef rather than just plonked onto the plate. We will now use the Suffolk arms as our local .
