Loved everything about this restaurant. We had the feed me menu option which meant we got to try everything on the menu, so glad we did, everything was delicious and the quality of the ingredients top notch. This would have to be the best meal I have had out in a long time.

Always an interesting meal at the Aristologist. The menu is updated weekly with seasonal food, prepared to highlight the ingredient, and served in a cosy restaurant. A lot of the dishes are cooked with fire or smoke that gives the food a really grounded earthy quality. Love going back just to see what the menu has on it. Never dull.

The space and offering of food was full of potential. Sadly, there was no flow in the service and this made for a very disjointed dining experience. Staff provided lacklustre explanations of each meal. They did not seem understanding with our questions on the wine list either. The list was hard to follow and did not provide simple options. We left full but thirsty.

Fabulous! We had our lunch in the cellar which is a terrific little room if your looking for a private room for up to 8people. Service wonderful, food delicious. Couldn’t fault. Happy to return.

My favourite little hidden treasure with amazing and personable staff. The fact that the food is locally produced either from their own gardens or within SA is a big winner. Perfect tastes and wonderful ambience. Highly recommended.

Lovely spot, delicious minimalist food with subtle effort and flavour abounding. Order of service quite odd, long wait, all bread & amuse bouche simultaneous, good pace on entrees, long wait on main. Still, we had time to burn so very happy with the lovely ambience.

This restaurant was recommended by friends as a really interesting place to eat, and it was! The dishes were unusual and delicious. The portions were spot on and the service was great. One of our friends had specific needs and the chefs were easily able to accommodate her requests. We were so impressed by their creativity!! Adventurous eaters would absolutely love this experience.
