We had a great breakfast at the tournament tavern. The staff were amazing......Jack and team were all.wonderful. there was a delay in the kitchen anda particular table of guests were very rude to the staff. The staff maintained there good manner in very different circumstances that were beyond there control. We were very impressed

I understand their intent, but it's the wrong crowd that much tableware. Also, the wait didn't check on us on the initial order. After a late entre and over an hour, I had to approach them for service.

Really disappointed. Children's food was overcooked and the mash resembled porridge - although I think porridge would have been a thicker consistency! The ambience was lacking that pizazz you'd expect to find in legoland. The cocktails were nice though and tge outdoor play area was a hit. Overpriced and poor quality.

As I have said before, too long a wait for inedible food and this was only breakfast which is straight forward. My Grandson has a dairy allergy so can only eat non dairy milk and non dairy yoghurt and non dairy butter ie Flora, but he was served soya milk in a jug, which is what we ordered, but on his breakfast tub he was also given full fat dairy yoghurt and full fat dairy milk which had we not quickly removed and he had opened and tried a small bit could have caused anaphylaxis which isn't acceptable when the restaurant has been notified of his allergy and so much had already been paid to stay in The Castle hotel and for "food" in The Castle Tavern Restaurant.

You had to wait 45mins-1hr for food to arrive and most of it was not edible. Cooked breakfast was cold and Grandson's cereal arrived after 50 mins wait by which time he was fed up with waiting. It was his 4th birthday today and it wasn't a good start to his Birthday Treat to Legoland!!!

The food for everyone except the two children was warm at best, when paying too price you expect more, also two fish dishes undercooked. Desserts very good.

The starters where ok however , the adult mains where lovely but the kids mains where a disappointment the steak and chips was fine and that child ate all. The fish was left by teh other to girls as was slushy and tasteless. We waited almost 44 minutes for the desserts to come out the cheese board was a disappointment as only the crackers where tasteless and hard and there was only three cheeses on the plate.

Food was luke warm, disappointing menu, disappointing atmosphere, staff slow very expensive for what it was, have to have a set menu or something really overpriced if you don’t eat set menu, I know not to expect much with it being legoland, but even the kids menu was disappointing

It’s not what you’d expect to find inside a theme park hotel - in a good way. The food was genuinely really good: quality ingredients, superb presentation and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was expensive but it was also memorable and a lot of fun.

Travelled 4 hours. Booked a table for my sons birthday spent over £100 food was like rubber. Served as a reheat in 10 minutes. Overpriced and absolutely poor. Only gave the service the positive as the gents from the hotel dressed as knights made the children laugh. Won't be returning.
