7/10The table we sat at was in a good area with comfy dest and the waitress that welcomed us on arrival was friendly. The food was delicious and arrived hot. However the drinks took a while to arrive and the overall service was a bit slow considering it was quiet. Had a lovely evening and would happily return.

4/10We have eaten many times at the Vic but unfortunately this time the evening was a big disappointment. We waited over 1 hour for our food to appear & when it did 2 of the 4 meals were cold. They did rectify the problem by warming them in the Microwave but………We ordered dessert but not all our choices were available. Such a shame as normally we are happy with this venue

6/10Smaller portions than the sister pub. Slow service and a very moody female waitress bringing out our dessert. Under xooked steak. Sons chickem was to dry to swallow and brown lettice. Very dissapointing.

6/10Specially booked to give grand kids a pizza as we know that is their favourite only to find at 6 pm they weren’t able to do them as no bases or mozzarella. The kids 5 and 10 had an ok Mac and cheese but the portion size for a 10 year old was tiny . We had the crab prawn pasta dish which not very flavoursome , asked fo some Parmesan but none available . On the positive side staff were helpful and polite but did not make up for the meal inadequacy.

6/10Went to the Victoria for a family meal. The food and service was reasonable but not amazing. I ordered the trio of roasts but there was no Pork left so had extra beef. The Beef was pretty good as was the vegetable sides but the roast chicken was over cooked and dry. The ‘bottomless gravy’ on the menu did not appear as when I asked for more it didn’t arrive. My wife had the Sea Bass which she said was good. and the starters were fine. We had a nice meal but could have been improved with a bit more attention to detail.

10/10Food and drink very good. Waitress was first class. Would suggest adding cheese plate to menu. Unfortunately unpleasant odour emanated from lower stairwell leading to Loos.

5/10Not to bad nothing special, both main courses ordered not available, rib eye and chicken dish, not much food on plate,small steak, 1/2 tomato and small mushroom, few chips, steak was not all that hot, drinks expensive

10/10Loved the table location, but thought the lack of seating to have a drink prior to being shown to our table slightly off putting, my wife and I had to stand at the bar for 40 minutes with our pr meal drinks, both of us 65 not 25.
