Typical hotel restaurant nice views out over golf course. Limited menu which had pretentious names for basic food. Food was acceptable overall but nothing special. My chicken was over cooked, dry and difficult to cut. Puddings good size and both ok. Wine very expensive but a good standard. Overall acceptable but would not encourage me to come back.

The service and food in the restaurant was perfect. We had the steak and Tuna, both dishes were beautifully cooked. We had the most lovely waitress too.

Unfortunately the restaurant was full of flys we were under attack constantly. The staff were young friendly but a little lack lustre and when we asked for water they forgot a few times. The food was OK but unable to enjoy due to dive bombing bluebottle which sadly ruined our enjoyment of the foot due to having to fend them off

Food was good, we wanted to tip as service good but were told if paying by card our tip wouldn’t go to waiting staff. Disgusted to hear this, unfortunately we had no cash on us.

Maintenance - Ice machine broken, 1 coffee machine broken, coffee machine in golf club needed specialist staff to operate. Catering - No lime juice available on 21st July, found half bottle on the 22nd. No mustard on the 21st July. Housekeeping 23rd July returned to room 3:30 pm - not serviced Requested maid to service, she could only provide clean towels "To busy to make the bed!! Stayed in hotels in over 30 counties - never had to make our own bed before!!! We had a De Vere eGift Card for £500.00 - staff had little idea how to process same and the final bill has yet to be settled. Despite the above we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Several departments need a wake up call!

Lovely restaurant for a romantic evening away from the kids with my husband. The bread was delightful, as were the risotto and beef burger. The chips were scrumptious. The lady was also very kind to find a 0.0% alcohol gin and tonic but then she disappeared and we had a number of waiters attending to us. Unfortunately, it was a while before anyone offered to remove our dinner plates and we were then told the kitchen was closed. No one had come over to take our dessert order, even just to say the kitchen was now closing. This meant we missed out on our dessert which was part of our dinner credit voucher. The food was good but we were a bit disappointed with the service. We hope it’s better on our second night here at the hotel

This was our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was over booked and really noisy, in fact it was like being in a canteen. Not romantic at all. If there was music playing I couldn't even hear it due to the noise level. The staff were polite and apologetic but my husband received and finished his starter before we received our drinks. The menu was slightly different than what was on the website and therefore I didn't even have a starter. The wine we requested was not even available. This was meant to be special but was far from the romantic meal we were expecting. I would never eat here again.

Food was ok but service wasn’t great. Had a late lunch at 2 kids pizza was stone cold and burnt and some of the desserts where finished ??. A bit dissapointed overall.
