Lovely place, but I've not been on a Saturday before and it was very busy and noisy compared to a week day. The menu has some lovely options, and what I have tried so far has been nice, but if you're looking for cheap pub food, this is not for you, each main is around £16 but you're looking at double that for a steak. The decor is homely and welcoming. It's clean and comfortable. Don't follow Sat nav though as you'll end up in the wrong place.

The Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. We weren't rushed to leave and were able to take our time even after paying the bill.

Really nice pub Resurant, went at 1300 on a Saturday. Great country type atmosphere. Food and service really good all five of us really enjoyed it. Staff are brilliant

Delicious meals - 1 turkey and one curried parsnip and squash wellington. Both excellent. The staff are always lovely here and very friendly without being intrusive. Lovely atmosphere, too.

Table and surroundings were clean and had clearly been done recently. Food was realy quick to arrive and was of good quality. Service was a little slow but to be fare there was a large party in .so would we book again Definitely yes

Waiting staff polite & very accommodating to our requirements. Food was beautiful . My main was a risotto from specials & it was perfectly balanced in flavour & seasoning. My only negative ……I would of quite happily ate a slightly bigger portion.

No ambience as noone elsein..5 of us ate for a family birthday..the lady who served us was lovely but the food was very average..a little tasteless..the fishcakes were sloppy and didnt go with new potatoes at all..the chicken sandwich was bland and fries soggy.. and the gammon was undercooked and very near raw.. the thick chips were nice though. Wont be returning though

Very nice pub/ Restaurant family and singles welcome and it feels miles away from the urban sprawl even though it's just off the east Lancs. Food comes very fast and the beer is nice. Enjoy!!!

On arrival we was greeted with a smile .clearly covid safe .food was very nice and presented well .staff very nice and attentive. Clean and had tables with clear shields between .

I booked a table though this website yet they didn’t have our booking when arrived, luckily they had a table but the football was one so was very loud. Food came quick but wasn’t the best could tell it wasn’t fresh. It was a good atmosphere for drinkers lovely garden just not for eaters
