Food not that great! Service was mediocre… Restaurant is not run for the benefit of the customer, no flexibility on menu and wine was expensive. Tried it, won’t be back.

We booked a table in advance and didn’t have to wait long to be seated. We had Sunday roasts but the duo beef one was a bit undercooked and my fiancé wasn’t able to eat some pieces. Verstohlen g else was fine. Good service and waiting time.

Lovely Sunday evening meal with beautiful views, delicious food and great service! My panko crumbed brie was so delicately crunchy and melted in your mouth, loved it! The garlic mushrooms were equally as yummy. Both roast pork’s were 10/10, best crackling I’ve had! Finally, couldn’t go wrong with a yummy light crumble and ice-cream for dessert. Thank you Sophia for amazingly friendly and efficient service, we’ll be back once the baby is out!

I chose the Pork belly and scallops which I found a little disappointing, the scallops were over cooked and the vegetables inedible being very under cooked. I don't like them over cooked but not just warmed

The food was lovely but the broccoli was rather too al dente! It would have been helpful if we had been told of dishes that were unavailable as we were given the menus and not after we had chosen.

My food (chicken Milanese) was delicious, husband’s was decent but not amazing (nourish bowl). Service was slow but the staff were very polite and accommodating. Love the decor, nice atmosphere. Would come again for sure.

Ltd menu due to supplier Covid issues which is understandable, however the prawn and salmon starter is basically a pot of seafood sauce. The cod and chips served with 8.5 chips and the Martini Eaton mess did not have martini. I have marked service as high due to the waitress being pleasant however watching her gnawing on fruit at the bar between service was a little weird.

My roasted cauliflower was wet and watery and just warm. My friends fish and chips were the same. Terrible meal and overpriced.. Will not be returning.

Personally I was disappointed as I waited 40 mins and still did not place my order. I ended up leaving without having anything. Would not recommend and will Never visit again unfortunately.

We had a really fabulous meal at the Wootton Hatch. My brother was visiting and he is a great cook himself and appreciates good food that is not over pretentious. Our meals were delicious, portion sizes perfect and everything was cooked to perfection. Service was very good. We also very much enjoyed the wine that we chose.

Unfortunately due to a major traffic problem in Dorking town center we arrived late after a long detour around the Surrey Hills. I did call the restaurant to advise them of our lateness as we were coming from Cheam and my family from Horsham. On arriving we were shown to an unselected position ( I had previously booked a window position on line) we were disappointed to be seated elsewhere as the restaurant was filling up - I did call!! We did have a long wait to be served for drinks and the food order also took along time and when served had been sitting under infa red lights to keep warm and was dry on the surface. Overall the food, service and ambience were fine and we will return again in the near future. Kind regards - Ken Ireland

Lovely lunch with family. Waited a while for service but the staff were very apologetic. Only 3 waiting on tables. It wasn’t their fault that they were under staffed. Food was good. I will be going back.

Booked a table for my Husbands birthday and unfortunately we were disappointed with the service we received. Waited over 40 mins for our drinks to come. The waitress did come over then to apologies that she had not submitted the order correctly and we appreciate her honesty but when she said she would chase the order we yet again waited to see everyone else getting their drinks whilst we sat there with an empty table. Unlikely to return.
