I go here very often, and usually I am very happy. This time, the food was really not up to par. It was very, very salty, and nobody at the table could finish the meal. When we explained this to the server, we did not get a lot of response, most likely because she was a trainee. We waited a long time for service to clear our plates and ask if we wanted a coffee/tea, as it seemed most of the wait staff had left for the afternoon. Eventually, we did get a glass of prosecco as compensation, which was very nice. However, I think a bit more training of the wait staff would be good. I felt a little sorry for the two people who were there to serve us. They seemed to not quite know what they should do. Again, this is constructive feedback. Usually, I am very happy with the restaurant, and I will still happily go back. But the trainees need a little more support on how to deal with situations that do not go smoothly.

Have driven past so many times and so glad we arranged to stop in for dinner. Sat on the terrace which was lovely. Service was good and prompt and food (burger and steak) were both delicious and cooked as requested. Will return.

Nice and modern restaurant, easy to access, easy to park around. Sympathic service, fast enough but not too fast. Great steaks and hamburgers cooked as you wish.

Always excellent. Cannot fault the restaurant. Nice ambiance, excellent service, good food. What's not to like? They seem to be handling the Covid requirements very well. Checking passports upon entry, etc.

So glad Modern Times has reopened after closing during much of the pandemic. It's a great restaurant with lovely staff and super food. We will be back as soon as we can.

Good pieces of meet, however expensive considering the side dishes are not included. The service was correct. The ambiance ok. It’s a restaurant in a hotel. A bit impersonal.

The asparagus starter does not really correspond to the description and the fish which was filletted at the table unfortunately still had many bones. Both these dishes were ordered by one member in the party, so an unfortunate coincidence. The 5 other party members were totally satisfied.

Booked for Valentine’s Day, having never been to the restaurant before. I was more than pleasantly surprised. There was a live singer in the bar area, exceptional professional & friendly service, good 5 course valentines menu (steak was exceptional) & the restaurant was full. Will definitely be back soon.

It’s true what I had heard: Best damn steak in Vevey. Try the prime rib with the 2012 Pauillac. Chapeau !
