This venue was pretty special and the food not too bad, however my sister and I are gluten intolerant and struggles to find many options apart from something on the breakfast menu. . A few gluten free lunch options with these options marked as such on the menu would have made our experience better.

We went with high expectations after reading other reviews. The menu was limited which we thought that’s ok each dish would be perfected. However, after waiting 40 mins (and it wasn’t packed, only a few tables occupied). The chicken burger patty appeared to be frozen and tasted processed, dry & over cooked. The chips were not very nice either, tasted frozen also and the crispy chicken in the salad again dry and over cooked. The salad was basic but was fresh and tasty. It’s a shame as the place had a lot of character and we would have liked to come back, however the food we ordered just was too disappointing unfortunately.

Charming setting in lovely garden. The food was homemade and really delicious. Homemade baking is worth the trip alone! Coffee was also well made with smooth creamy milk and pleasant beans, The tea was Twinnings and the girls serving were really accommodating. It’s now my new favourite.

I booked this for a group through The Fork which was confirmed plus a reminder text from The Fork in the morning of the booking to remind us. However, when we got there the Cafe knew nothing about our booking. They were very obliging and catered well for us. Other groups and people were there too so it was very busy but the staff managed extremely well. A couple of wrong orders, mainly drinks, but otherwise the staff were very unflappable and excellent. The drinks and food were lovely with everything to all day breakfast items to lunch items. They also had a whole display case of different slices, cakes and scones to choose from. Lovely outlook and those who wanted to were able to look through the art and gift shop and the Historical Village. Well worth going and we’ll be back again.

Very friendly, helpful staff. The portion size of the lunch was huge! Excellent value for money. Easy to access as so close to the highway - but very little traffic noise. Will definitely go again.

It was our first visit to this place and we would come back. The food was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful, the whole place was quiet and picturesque. The signage was the only thing to fault. From the road, we didn't know where it was, which was on the ground of the Beenleigh Historical Village. Even the signs on the ground were slightly confusing but once we found it, it was a delightful setting.

Today's dining experience was wonderful. The girls went above and beyond to ensure our brunch was enjoyable. I will visit again, when next down that way, from Brisbane.

This lovely cafe situated in the grounds of the Beenleigh Historical Village is well worth a visit. Strongly recommend having a delicious lunch there or coffee and cake prepared by the friendly owner and staff. Then take a trip down memory lane exploring the wonderful historical village.

First went to Cafe for our meal after the Red Sands Experience(very worthwhile) and was so impressed that we decided to revisit for a tour of Historical Village and lunch at Tin Cup Cafe. Most enjoyable lunch with friendly service and pleasant outlook. Plenty to eat, freshly made and tasty Washed down with good wine followed by excellent coffee. Highly recommended. We plan to return for a morning tea to enjoy the delicious freshly made scones .

The Tin Cup Cafe has great food. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, helpful and efficient. The cafe is set in the grounds of the Beenleigh Historical Village which is a wonderful “stepping back in time” experience and well worth the visit. ????

The food was very good but for the coeliac at our table the menu items were limited. There was very little she could eat. The gluten free food on offer was almost nil. We booked to have a meal on Sept 29th not realising that this day was the day organised for the Historical Societies "fun day". The organised event appeared well attended and good fun for the children. But we found the music was quite loud and made it hard to talk. The staff were excellent. Very patient and helpful considering the crowded busy day. The Tin Cup website is useful and cleverly sent me a reminder of our booking plus allowed me to upgrade our change in attendees via the Tin Cup sote.
