After queueing for half an hour I chose the roast beef for my carvery meal, the beef served was very poor, with lots of gristle present in the cut of beef used for the carvery. This made the carved slices impossible to cut and chew which spoilt the meal, although the vegetables were very good. Perhaps a different cut of beef could be used for gaining better consistency of the roast joints, or improved butchery (removal of gristle) prior to cooking.

I booked a table for 10 persons, although only 8 attended due to illness. The Table was near a window so nice and light. The food was very good. Good value. Our waitress (I believe her name was Karen) was very attentive and helpful. Overall an enjoyable experience.

They did not have enough staff working. The wait time for queue/ being served your food was over 30 minutes. Only 1 chef. Very little staff working in a very busy restaurant. Food was good.

My family were very impressed with the service and food that we received on Saturday. Your staff were courteous and as the restaurant was quite full, we received excellent and fast service. 2 of my family were visiting from Australia and they were impressed with everything. Will definitely be visiting you again, so once again 'thank you' to you and all your staff.

This booking app is rubbish. The carvery cancelled our booking before we arrived for our reservation Your app obviously doesn’t work in conjunction with the actual restaurant- what a joke

Waited over 10 minutes to be seated even though no queue. Busy due to an offer and seated rather close to another couple which was a little awkward. Serving staff were very young but very helpful. Food was good, bit of a wait for the vegan options, mushroom and ale pie, which was tasty but heavy. There could be more labelling of veg for main allergens or to cross ref with online allergen list (I can’t have milk). Otherwise a good value meal.
