As a regular diner on a wednesday afternoon. I cannot fault the food or the service at Toby Carvery Chapel Allerton. The food is always presented well, meat portion sizes are generous and the surroundings are always comfortable.

The eating area was a little crowded, especially keeping covid in mind. The food was tasty and plenty of it, but on the whole a very nice experience.

Me and my friends love the Toby Carvery at Chapel Allerton. We meet regularly in a wednesday lunchtime and are never disappointed. The food is always tasty freshly prepared and plenty of vegetables to choose from

I am a number one fan of Toby Carvery at Chapel Allerton. I usually am a lunchtime carvery customer with friends on a two weekly basis but this time had the two course festive menu. Great staff lovely waitress, fabulous food. We only wish we had taken photos of our plates and sent them to the Deer Park on Street Lane as a meal there recently For a friends birthday was terrible. Wont be giving them our patronage again anytime soon. Merry xmas everyone see you in New Year

A nice atmosphere. Was a little bit too warm. Food was very good. Just felt a little bit rushed when we had eaten that they wanted us to leave the table. They were not busy do not as if we were stopping anyone else eating.

We thought the restaurant was excellent, staff very friendly and food very good. The only complaint was that the plates were not hot enough, which is unusual as we go there often at lunch-time and they are always extremely hot.

The problem with chapel allerton toby is that it is too hot and stuffy. We were placed in a dark dingy corner too which made it more hot still. Also i am sick of the constant attempts to UPSELL. First they ask more than once if you want pigs in blankets which if you don't kniw are an extra cost to your standard carvery, i think £4.99 extra!. And they don't tell you that if you agree to have them!! Then on arrival at the self serve carvery, the person who is about to carve your choice of meat asks if you want a large/king-size plate and actually starts to reach iver to pick it up!! Again, not explaining the extra costs this imposes in the customer. TOBY - PLEASE STOP THIS BEHAVIOUR! Same goes for drinks with added pressure to order largest option available.
