Meat was lovely, veg were okay, gravy was only just warm. Go here all the time, not the best experience tonight. We moved tables because it was so hot in the restaurant and the lady who served us after we moved was way more attentive and really pleasant.

The food was relatively good but everything was cool and not hot so by the time we started eating it was nearly cold. The food containers need to be kept at a higher temperature to allow for room temperature changes. Every time the front door opens then cold air is let in being wintry conditions which lowers the room temperature and therefore affects the food temperature. Not very enjoyable on this occasion.

I chose 1 meat type and was given 2 slices, my friend chose 3 types of meat and was given 2 slices of each meat. The meat given should be the same for each person regardless of their meat choice. This should be rectified throughout your restaurant selection.

Party of 12 food was tasteless and underserved cooked I appreciate veg is Al-Dante but raw is a bit different the lamb and beef was pure fat not edible. It was clean mass produced. Booked for 12 people and were split up on 2 tables of 6. We booked as a family and was split due to fire doors but had booked weeks before and was not catered for. We might as well have thrown the money at the side of the road. We saw multiple customers walk away from the food on the table

My husband and I have been travelling from Sheffield to the Fork every Sunday for the last few weeks as we feel this is the best carvery we have visited, and we've visited many places. The service, food and atmosphere are without a doubt excellent in every way. Well done to everyone concerned. You've got a great team !!!!

Not been to midweek Carvery in years . The person on the desk (who failed to greet us in anyway) could have changed this visit by just greeting us and rating would have been even better. As for Food - meat delicious, peas had wrinkles from dehydration and carrots & Mac n cheese burnt Staff sorted food out- pea’s could not be made edible

I ordered a carvery and wanted lamb but I could see and the chef told me it was well done. It was actually overcooked. I therefore had a mixture of lamb and beef but the beef was also tough. My son ordered salmon and spinach wellington but they had run out of puff pastry so it was just salmon with spinach. The queue for the carvery was very long - 15 mins and we gad to wait 30 mins for our table.

Generally lovely food, a very popular Toby carvery with easy access from the motorway. Parking was a struggle as it was a busy Sunday lunch, and the Yorkshire puds were a bit chewy.

Excellent service by all staff.Food was not as good as it normally is.Meat was cooked to perfection but mashed potatoes were lumpy.Carrots and cauliflower cheese were rock hard.Yorkshire puddings weren't very good.Sausage burnt.

The staff and food was amazing. The staff was so friendly and do anything to please. This was the best service we have had here. Also the food is wonderful lots of choices. However I like my veg soft, but that's not to everyone's taste, so I manly just have peas and the smaller pieces of cauliflower. Roast potatoes yum well done. And I'm not keen on Yorkshire puddings but iv never seen them as big as I have there.
