We never managed our meal because the fork messed up our booking . We were booked in for 630. I’ve got the emails to say we’d booked in then. When we arrived at the toby for a celebration with tired and hungry children the Toby says it had been booked for 730. I thought I was going crazy till I checked my email confirmation from fork

The Meal was cold and when I got back to the table I found I had be given beaf instead of lamb. I did not complain because I don’t like causing a scene. Also I think that £12 pound is a lot for just a carvery. .

Despite catering for very large numbers of customers, I found all the staff to be courteous and efficient. I was pleased with my meal: I had the carvery which had a good choice of tasty meat and a really good choice of vegetables to help yourself to. The venue itself has free parking (as long as you remember to register your car in the restaurant) and is also next to lovely walks along the canal towpath (weather/parking permitting).

There wasn’t much selection on roast just spuds,Yorkshire puddings were stone cold and not a great choice on veg, The service was great as usual put not to impressed with the food.
