We had booked no seating where we asked for no mention of it. Veg all empty. Gravy empty servery dried up food. Appreciate they busy hire more staff

Our waitress Lana was very chirpy and made us feel valued. The food was OK.. but the yourshire puddings were as flat as pancakes.. very unusual as they are normally huge.

We arrived a little early but reception staff found us a table despite being very busy. The carvery was good....I had lamb and it was very tender and beautifully cooked. The choice of vegetables was also very good

We visited on a Sunday lunchtime. The restaurant was really busy but we were shown straight to our pre-booked table - impressive. There was the inevitable queue for the carvery, only to be expected. Food was good and plentiful. Selection of vegetables was good.

Food was very fresh from the carvery buffet. We did get there just before the rush hour so no queues and plenty of choice. Roast potatoes not crispy but rest of food was good quality. Staff was very pleasant and cheerful.

Slow to seat us, no crackle dripping roasters where not the best I havehad them in other Toby inns and they were excellent these where much like an ordinary roaster. The veg was so hard it wasn’t nice to eat. Portions of meat where so small not the usual amount I have been used to. Yorkshire pudding were flat and didn’t taste very nice. Gravy was good. And it was nicely decorated for Christmas. I would not travel over to eat there again.

Unfortunately I didn't time it well as had theast scraps of gammon and macaroni cheese which had dried up and lost the will to live. The rest of the food was ok

I went with my 2 grandchildren for carvery for 2 of us and sausage and Yorkshire the other. The sausages were very dry even I wouldn't have eaten them. The roast was hot d not luke warm like some other tobys. The tables are very close together again and one man was coughing continuously.. The service was good.

The Carvery was a little bit lukewarm. There was plenty of meat and the yorkshires were huge and crispy. Loads of veggies to choose from however the sprouts were cold and the gravy and other veg was lukewarm. Shame really otherwise we enjoyed it. My coffee was also lukewarm when I got it. We didn’t complain cos we were in a bit of a hurry.

You get your money’s worth. Really large quantities of food. I’ve got a big appetite and in Toby Carvery, I always eat to my heart’s desire , unlike in other places

Fantastic Sunday roast, lovely place to bring families too. Nice and clean and the staff were excellent. Wouldn’t eat a roast anywhere else now
