Actual visit was great but we made a booking through the fork that the restaurant had no idea about! Just lucky they found us a table as it was really busy! Be wary of using the fork to make bookings I would not use it again

We usually come to the Toby once a month or three weeks because we find the food excellent, the ambiance relaxing and the staff always pleasant. Hannah and Clair seem to remember the diner and go out of their way to make the visit a happy one. This time there was less choice of vegetables ad the carrots were rater rubbery. Nevertheless the visit was a success and we shall return.

We had a great meal. Easy to book a table. Asked to be by a window which we were. The food was great and no queue for the carvery. The service was also very good.

I love Toby Carvery . I like roasts and you can choose what you have and how much. The staff are welcoming and attentive. The ambience is good too.

Meats were roasted exceptionally good! Veggies were good but perhaps a little dry ( A bit of melted butter over would make wonders in taste and keeping them moist) Staff was amazing! Very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Well done for the management training! Overall myself and two others members of my family enjoyed Sunday lunch very much. Thank you

On arriving we shown to a table, I did ask about another table were we had been seated before and liked, but were told it wasn't table service there and we'd have to go to the bar to order, but it hed been fine there the last time we went about 3 weeks ago, anyway we sat at the table, it was all sticky,we ordered our drinks, a large wine and a pint of orange juice and lemonade, and I asked for no ice and a straw because my hands tremble, I was told they didn't have any straws. When the drinks came the orange and lemonade was full of ice. The food was good and the waitress was really good.

We were 5 mins late got seen straight away ordered our drinks and sat at table for queue to die down food was as usual good and wasn't rushed even though it was busy

The service was good at first , staff were attentive . I asked for another drink ‘ yes of course’ the waitress said , but it didn’t arrive , the waitress seemed to get to busy to remember to get my drink . Never mind it was only soft drink refill
