This Toby carvery is in a great location near the promenade. Always clean and a great carvery selection. Staff are very welcoming and the food is very good.

Warm welcome at reception by the Assistant Manager and shown to a our table No.1 in a comfortable and quiet location. The service received by Alex was good, so too was the service received by Chef at the Carvery. The food was hot and the quality was good.

Our young waiter was polite and attentive. We had to wait a long time for our starters, but they were nice. The meat was good, but some of the veg were a bit dry, probably been in the warmer a bit too long. Very reasonably priced.

The whole experience was excellent. One young man who served us was the friendliest person and made us feel very welcome especially my disabled sister. The only thing that disappointed us all was the veg, not enough variety. The rest of the food was excellent. Will see you in the near future. Kind regards, Elaine Kent.

Waitress was lovely , wanted a wrap was told no wraps since opening maybe take of menu then , then tried to order pork no pork !! Asked for soup waitress had to go to check there was any , why !! Bread for my husband sandwich was awful , also 2 beef sandwiches ordered , end of piece of beef very fatty , puddings were nice .

The restaurant was clean and tidy and initially staff pleasant and welcoming.However young male waiter decided to take over service for our table and he really spoilt the experience………he took plates before we had finished eating brought dessert and within minutes was bringing the bill .Restaurant wasn’t busy and this rushed experience spoilt a lovely meal …….More training required I feel

The staff were very friendly. The service was very quick. The food was amazing. I would definitely go again, its not too expensive and the quality of the meal was brilliant.

Staff (manager) sat polishing cutlery, chatting to staff while we waited 15 minutes for a drink after being told to leave the table after eating and sit in the lounge for a drink. hearing your manager/supervisor sat complaining to staff that she finishes after 11 then gets home showers etc then up early agian for work , its a pain etc etc, when you are waiting for service isnt good esecially as it was only us sat in the lounge and in plain sight with empty glasses. We tried to catch attention a few times. Chefs polite friendly, Jade who greeted us and sat us down was nice and efficient aswell as the young waitress that seemed quite new. Lead by example should not apply here
