The food was good yet underwhelming. Lots of rice, not so much beef. Plate presentation is extremely « cantinesque ». Service was very slow. Wines were ok, nothing great and surprisingly not so well paired for plates were saffron seems omnipresent. Overall, still a great experience because the taste is there and the restaurant is humble. But it’s not worth the 9.7/10 rating it has on theFork. Closer to 8.5

Peculiar and quite warm environment (wood carpeting on the walls), warm service (wife taking orders, husband in the kitchen). It was a 1st for us and well, I guess we're not into Iranian cuisine...

A warm welcome to a family restaurant where everything is home made according to traditional recipes. We were stunned by the fascinating flavors that included mint and pomegranate. The discount from La Fourchette (The Fork) made it easy to order the most interesting dishes a la carte without worrying about cost. But there is also a prix fixe "menu" at varying price points. The less expensive main dishes are mostly flavored rice; delicious, but not as much in them. Definitely order the DOUGH, a slightly salty yoghurt drink with mint & other herbs, which is really refreshing and takes the edge off serious hunger while you're waiting for food to be cooked. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this place. You should try it.

It was our first time in an Iranian restaurant so a totally new experience but a really good one. We particularly liked "Gheymeh nessar" as main and the two outstanding desserts "fereny" and "cheese cake Iranian style": everything was homemade, fresh and tasty. The only drawback: it's a bit pricey without "the fork".

This was a really good restaurant with lovely atmosphere and yummy food! Portions were perfectly sized. The owners are a couple and tonight we met the wife who was adorable! I highly recommend this restaurant if you want some delicious Persian food. The neighborhood is great too - within walking distance to the Jardin du Luxembourg and the Pantheon. We’ll definitely be back!

A cosy way to travel among delicious flavours and discoveries, feeling at home and well guided. Kindest hostess. I definitely recommend this address and would enjoy going back.
