Having just come back from travelling through Italy and Naples, I had cautious optimism for this restaurant since their website blurb raved about the owners’ passion for Neapolitan food. It was worrying then however, that the waitress didn’t know what San Marzano tomatoes are when I asked what kind of tomatoes are used on the Margherita pizza, and disappointing when I was told that Roma tomatoes are used. Overall the food was decent but not amazing. Cocktails were delicious though.

We regularly visit Toscano as it is one of the best restaurants in Brisbane. Beautiful restaurant. Delicious food. Amazing cocktails. Great Staff.

Made a last minute booking. Decor is lovely. We arrived early by 20 mins and so sat and chatted at a high-table having a cocktail, however, 8:00pm came and went. At 8:15pm, I asked someone about our table. It was ready, but for some reason they said they were waiting for us to finish our drinks before inviting us to go to the table. Apart from that glitch in service, all else was great. Food was good. Our wait person was friendly and attentive. Could not taste the gorgonzola in the polenta chips, however they were still tasty. I ordered the porchetta and my friend the tagliatelle. We also got the last two creme brulees. It was very noisy. Young crowd in their 20s and 30s. We had a round table behind us of about 8 men who were laughing and clapping so loudly, I was close to going and saying something to them. All in all, a good find.

Except the first main course, everything else was perfect on the new eve package. The size of dishes is gorgeous, the cocktails are amazing. Service was nice, always being looked after. Very nice new year experience

I don't regret trying this but I do not recommend it. The food is acceptable but the people are angry and the opposite of being friendly. Rude and impatient. They served us a wrong dish. It took some time for the second meal to get prepared. We had a reservation but there was a function at the same time!!! and having a limited space, it was very noisy. They served us a table just next to the storage room l, In a corner with no breathe. Sweating all diner time. I could not wait to leave the place.

One of the best places around in the city. Wish they had mains other than pizza/pasta too though. The egg plant entre does great as a main if you are not too hungry.
