I was recommended this place by a friend. It was quaint and comfortable restaurant. The food was great, quite exemplary. Also booking with the app and availing the discount was affordable for us. The staff too were very accommodating and kind. We had a great time

The steak was mouthwatering but I’d have to say, the bean soup won my heart, it was just right. Not too salty, adequate portion, right amount of flavor… what an absolute delight!

This place was very welcoming. My wife wasn't feeling well, so I went by myself. I was greeted by the staff who said that they could prepare takeaway for my wife. As sometimes happens to me, I placed my order and settled in with a glass of Chianti and only then realized that I had come without my wallet. The restauranteur was very understanding and encouraged me to eat and return the next day to pay. I said no and that I would run back to the apartment to get my wallet. I did so and when I returned, my dinner was hot and ready. I had the Chantigiana rigatoni which was delicious. The restauranteur had a fresh Pappardella Sul Cinghiale (with wild boar) prepared for my wife as I paid the bill. It was a very good experience! Five stars were well earned.

What a delightful surprise! Behind the small entrance is a delightful restaurant. Excellent pasta and good choice of wines. Friendly staff. The place seems to be pretty busy, it is probably a good idea to book your table beforehand.

Piacevole scoperta. Piatti semplici e molto goduriosi. Locale piccolo ma con la giusta atmosfera. Cameriera super gentile ed attenta. Lo consiglio!

The restaurant had a great location (near Boboli Gardens) and on a Sunday afternoon when not much is open, it did serve the purpose of lunch perfectly. The staff were very busy as there were so many customers, there was not much interaction so I can’t comment really, we got our food, that’s it. :) the food was average though, it’s after Italy, I suppose they food won’t be very disappointing but I won’t say it’s restaurant level. Most difficult thing, was the environment. We were placed at a semi-outdoor area (it does have heaters), but since we were so close to ‘a door’, that is essentially a piece of plastic hence it couldn’t stop wind from coming in. We were freezing and the food got very cold very fast. As said, we needed to take a break and we got it, but I wouldn’t want to pay so much…even with The fork discount.

We read so many great things about this restaurant, and all were true. The staff are very helpful, the menu has a QR code for English translation, and we got good advice on portion size to avoid ordering more than we could eat. Great food, great wine list. Would definitely come back.

Absolutely delicious food, warm atmosphere and delightful staff. A great place to have lunch or dinner without a thousand tourists around you, and where the fare caters to Florentines as opposed to those visiting. Highly, highly recommended.

Amazing restaurant! What a great surprise! Food was deliciously prepared and well presented. To start, I had the eggplant with tomato and cheese with pesto sauce. For the main course, the bistecca that was insanely tasty. The staff was very kind. I definitely recommend this place.
