    Excellent restaurant. Really nice food and friendly staff. Beautiful location at the piazza. Pasta with cheese and pepper, 2nd Pork with honey mustard delicious

    We spent over 2 weeks in Tuscany and this has been by far our best experience dining out. Aladin, our waiter, was incredibly helpful and friendly. It was clear at every moment that all members of the staff are passionate about what they do, and wanted to share that with the diners. The food itself was beautifully prepared, and I particularly loved the pici, cooked to perfection with a few carefully selected fresh ingredients. We asked at the very beginning of our meal what the chef would recommend for the day, and the chef actually came to our table and made his recommendations for appetizer, primi and secondi piati. We chose to have his recommendations and loved every step of it. My one regret is that we were leaving Siena the next day so were unable to go back! I would have gone back several times otherwise!

    It was an outstating experience. First, we had this charismatic waiter, name Aladin. He was so passionate about this job and make us smile, that i can say it was the best service we had in Italy. Also, the chef came to talk with us to assist us with our food choices. Yes, the freaking chef! Like Aladin, he was extremely charismatic and clarify ur doubts. In the end, we had a tartare (entrance), pici (first course) and then an ossobuco for (second course). I recommend all the dishes, but the pici was the star of the night for us.

    We arrived for our 1200 booking at 1200 as we had a tour to make afterwards but they weren’t quite ready - no big deal in itself. The meal was ok except for the Penne which was not al dente (unless that means “will take 25 minutes to get out of your gums”). Simply undercooked. It was also difficult to get the bill: my family left for the tour and I eventually went to stand by the bar and help them with it (the first sum offered me was far too little). I had the impression they were a young team that was up late the night before and hadn’t prepared for the new day.
