6/10Although the staff was friendly and did their best to accommodate for a toddler, the pizza was very average. Having ordered a drink which came with the bottle opened and partially consumed already made the experience less optimal, too.

6/10I’m not sure what other reviewers saw in this restaurant. The music is too loud and the owner “upsold” my pizza selection. Promising burrata (which as NOT burrata, I’ve had better from the grocery store) and upsold is on a wine off menu, stating it was only €2 more than our original selection of a chianti. It was dead average and not worth even just €2 more. My partners lasagna came out boiling and the consistency of soup. The highlight of our meal always the bruschetta, which is honesty hard to screw up. It’s in the neighborhood of our apartment but we will not be returning.

About this restaurant
Pans up on the wall At Da Damiano they cook Italian food with Sardinian accents. In this brown restaurant there are white napkins on the tables and on the wall you will notice a guitar and some pans. This place has been a family restaurant for many many years in Amsterdam and if you taste the wood fired pizza you will surely come back!
