9.5/10Solid service and tasty inventive food. The setting was nice, but it felt like we were dining in a converted hotel lobby vs a michelin star restaurant. Well-trained staff were attentive yet unpretentious. It’s worthy of a visit inside the beautiful Hotel das Virtudes.

10/10An excellent surprise, we appreciated every dishes. Special note for the outstanding dessert. Service was excellent, taking the time without being too much present. Wines were the best we had in Porto.

10/10Wonderful place for a nice quiet dinner. We arrived early and headed to the lovely rooftop bar for a drink before our reservation. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We had a lovely time.

9/10Americans in Porto for vacation and had to use The Fork app to book most reservations. This restaurant is trying to get a Michelin star. Menu was updated a week prior to our visit. Service was above anything we’re accustomed to in the Midwest. Dinner included a chef’s amuse bouche of tuna tartare on a cucumber slice with peanuts and a citrus dressing. There was also a chef’s gift after dessert with a red velvet brownie bite and another bite size gel treat. While we were in polo style shirts and travel pants, dress was varied throughout the restaurant. Our driver took us right to the entrance to the hotel, which is down a long narrow uphill alley. Glad we didn’t walk to it.we arrived early and were greeted at the hotel, escorted to the restaurant and service never stopped. White gloves for placing silverware and glassware were used between courses.

10/10We had a wonderful evening at Traves. The service and the food were outstanding and the surroundings were wonderful. The staff could not have been more attentive and also gave us a peek into their roof top bar with views. I would have no hesitation to go back to Traves or to recommend this restaurant. 10/10There are people who like their job then there are people who love their job. The service here was amazing, it was their 1 year anniversary and the staff were amazing. A true passion for looking after people without it being too overwhelming. Food was also amazing!
