7/10the restaurant setting is very welcoming and I liked the use of book shelves as decoration and book covers as lamp shades. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was good, but I was somehow expecting a little bit more in terms of flavour in my Lasagna- it was good but not exceptional.

8/10Everything was great beside the fact that the place doesn't have air conditioning or ventilation. The heat was unbearable so we left the place as soon as possible.

5/10The food was just not good. The lasagna was overcooked and the noodles were mushy. The meatballs were extremely dry and hard to swallow. This meal was extremely disappointing. The worst meal we have had in Italy so far.

10/10We last ate here before the pandemic and were excited to return during our first post-Covid trip to Italy. My memories were spot on-everything was great-the food, the service, the setting. I highly recommend Va Mo La!

5/10We gave this a try tonight as it had some great reviews and we regret wasting our time. The food was not only basic and uninspired - it was disappointing. Presentation was not good, service was ok, but we didn’t get one of the dishes we ordered, which at the end was fine by us since the rest of the food wasn’t good. I wouldn’t waste my time - there are so many better places do enjoy in the area.

7.5/10The food overall was decent, the rabbit with mashed potatoes was excellent but the rest was just good, not much variety on the menu, some of the traditional Bologna food was missing (we went on a Friday maybe the menu was different) and the bread was a bit old. My seat wasn’t very comfortable and they told us that we need to leave by 9pm if we want to stay inside but was quite empty inside until then. Service wasn’t the best and wasn’t very attentive as they gave us the side dish a bit late and almost forgot the second dish. 7.5 is the right score in my opinion.

10/10Va Mo Lá is our favourite restaurant in Bologna and is our "go to" place whenever we visit the city. The food is consistently excellent, the service is always friendly and attentive and the prices are very reasonable. In our experience, there is nothing to fault.

10/10we decided to spend our first dinner in Italy in this place and decided to ask the waiter for recommendations. As a result, we ordered tartalone with pistachios and ricotta, tagliatelle with meat sauce, vegetable salad, and for dessert we took masquerade with chocolate and panna cotta. we were sitting outside under an awning when it started to rain, the air became clear and the atmosphere was very pleasant. 9/10Great ambience and Service. The food was nice but lacked the oh wow factor. Although it's definitely felt authentic bologonese food. I recommend it.
