Friendly reception and authentic Italian food. Extra points if you order anything from Campania like Falanghina Beneventano wine or the Baba Beneventano dessert. Great seafood pastas, and friends say the pizza is excellent. Be sure to reserve, because we've seen countless walk-ins turned away.

Lovely local restaurant. Fresh flavoursome pasta dishes and huge pizzas on offer here. I had the pesto linguine which was delicious. The place is small, (around half a dozen tables) so do book in advance. Lots of people were turned away on the Monday night we ate here. it’s popular with locals too, which is a good sign. I will definitely return next time we’re in Nice.

Third visit, had the spaghetti vongole special and a fab couple of bottles of white wine. The aubergine parmigiana was superb and it’s accompanying flat bread. Desserts of lemon sorbet and Afogato were delicious.

Lovely family run Italian restaurant. Waiter very welcoming and brings the small board with the days specials. Menu has huge selection of dishes. Been twice in three days, first time had pasta and second time pizza; both times excellent. Wine by the pichet from Puglia wa superb. Have been over the years and always good. They had to turn away six couples while we were there as they were fully booked so booking advisable.

Amazing owner. Very friendly and inviting. It was our first visit and the ingredients in the pizza are superb! Wine selection is also excellent. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. Thanks for a great dinner!

Food is great, pizzas some of the best in Nice but service is just so slow, even though it’s delivered with energy and a smile. We waited so long for everything: menus, drinks, food and some items we had to ask for multiple times. It’s all handled very pleasantly so makes it hard to get frustrated…and ultimately the food is very good. So if you have plenty of time then don’t hesitate to come.

Never go here, horrible customer service - I showed up for my reservation and he told us he can’t seat us because he never checked the reservation and doesn’t have space and was rude and told us to leave

I think people misinterpret the host sometimes. He may seem crass but he’s actually very nice. I do recommend making a reservation prior, he does tend to send walk ins away at dinner time. The service we had was great, the atmosphere authentic Italian. We ordered the vongole and the carbonara, both solid. Great wine pairing and even went for a pizza to go for lunch the next day and it was perfect.

Very, very good Italian restaurant with a great host and even better food! Felt like being in Italy! Just awesome! We’ve had the whole host: starter, which was unbelievably good, fantastic pizza as a main course and a great lemon sorbet for dessert. Perfect night and affordable prices for Nice!

The food was fantastic!!! This was one of the best Italian restaurants I‘ve ever visited! The service was also very nice. Only the ambiente could be better, it doesn’t match the quality of the awesome food! Less light, some candles, more decoration and it would be a 10 out of 10!

This is a great, genuine Italian restaurant. The staff were friendly and were rapidly switching between speaking to customers in English, French and Italian. The pizza was fabulous and the Italian red wine was very good. Prices are reasonable. Would definitely go back and recommend.

Absolutely delicious, genuine Italian food. Very relaxed atmosphere. Amazing menu choices! Every dish that I saw looked unbelievably good. I had the tuna which was on the daily specials board and it was fresh and light. A perfect little Italian gem. Thank you for having us!
