Van Winkle located opposite the iconic Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow proudly serves up a huge selection of Bourbons. Our aim is to bring real quality products, delivered by genuine people, in an atmosphere that allows you to drift and believe you are in the deepest parts of Kentucky!

Serving a variety of wee plates, BBQ pit food smoked in-house over bourbon wood chip before being finished on the grill and homemade burgers and sandwiches, there’s something to suit everyone.

We are also known for our Bourbon Tasting evenings where we bring Kentucky and its famous Bourbons to you. This bespoke Bourbon tasting package includes a welcome Buffalo Soldier Cocktail on arrival, Bourbon Tasting evening, complemented by some fabulous sharing plates including halloumi fries, chicken wings, burgers, buttermilk chicken tenders, loaded fries and many more mouth-watering dishes from the USA.

Covid-19 Measures

At Van Winkle, the safety and well-being of our staff and guests is our number one priority.

We have implemented several new social distancing measures and in line with Scottish Government Advice we are following a strict health and safety policy.

We’re Good to Go and have secured the AA’s COVD-19 confident accreditation. Both logos are visible on our website and shared via our social media platforms.

The new social distancing measures in place include:

 Social distancing signage throughout the venue

 Guests details taken for the Scottish Government’s Test and Protect system

 All our staff wear PPE both front and back of house

 Staff temperatures are taken at the beginning of each shift

 Additional cleaning measures are in place and special arrangements have been made for toilet visits and cleaning

 We have had safety screens installed between tables

 We are using single use disposable menus

 All our cutlery is wrapped prior to guests visiting the restaurant

 We adhere to a 1 metre social distancing policy

 We ask all guests to sanitise their hands when entering the premises

 There is no standing or queueing inside the premises out with a guests allocated table
