8.5/10The outdoor glass enclosed room was attractive but noisy. The 5 items we ordered were attractive and fresh. Smoked trout antipasta and eggplant excellent. The 'greek salad' was incomplete, lacking greens and with no olives. Rum soaked lemon cake was excellent.

10/10Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Superb service. Food was fabulous. We were not rushed which is great. Highly recommended it. We had mozzarella and ham as a starter- exquisite. I had lasagne, the best I’ve ever had. My husband had Cesear salad- fantastic. Tiramisu was out of this world! Well worth a trip

10/10Victoria Grill is front and center in the Town Square oof Varenna directly in front of a beautiful church. Immaculate inside with a view of the square thanks to clear walls. All four in our party remarked that food is some of the best they have ever had. Lasagna is incredible! We ended up having dinner here two out of three nights because nothing else compared in our opinion. Great wine selection as well. Cannot more highly recommend this restaurant.

8.5/10The staff was very attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. The ambiance was pleasant. Food was tasty and fresh. We loved having a nice dinner- cherry tomatoes with burratta, risotto with lake perch, and spaghetti.

4/10I am sure this is the right restaurant for some people but it wasn’t for us. All the other diners were older British people and the food was targeted toward that market. Pizzas were on the menu but not being served when we visited - if we had had pizza our experience may have been different. As it was the food we had was very average. This was the only restaurant in Varenna that we regretted visiting.

7/10The service was good and the waiters very friendly. The food was mixed - I had a calzone with ham and artichokes which was very good. The person I was with ordered pasta which was not even Al dente - it was practically uncooked.

10/10We had booked this restaurant as we had heard there weren’t many places open in Varenna in late Oct. We had 3 pizzas, an aubergine parmigiana and puddings. It was all really good, nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly service. Wine recommendation was good and good value. We would certainly return and recommend.

2/10Our food came out before our drinks. When our drinks came the order was wrong (we ordered 2 drinks the same drink, not a massive order). One main came out with the starter and the other main 15 mins later, therefore we didn't eat together. Expensive for the food you got €18 for 3 squares of char fillet. Waiter was rude, not letting us finish the order before walking away and having to be called back. Would not recommend at all.

9.5/10Online reservations were a definite plus! The food was great and the service was excellent. Nice wine selection as well. The restaurant is on the main Varenna piazza but enclosed with AC which was much appreciated on a hot evening. Definitely recommend!

5/10We were charged €24.50 for 7 bottles of water that was clearly just tap water as it came in jugs even though they received €24 for cover charge. Charged €3.50 per person almost for tap water. Food was good and staff were very knowledgeable about wine.
