Truly spectacular, the atmosphere was enhanced with the fireplace and combine that with the fresh cuisine of the Tuscan landscape. Service was very good and recommendations were appreciated. Come in the daylight if you are challenged by the roads in this region. It’s well worth the effort.
Just back from Villa Bordoni. Amazing experience in a beautiful setting. It was our second visit, this time to celebrate two family members’ birthdays. The food was really fantastic, beautiful local wine and the waiter produced panna cotta with a birthday candle and sang Happy Birthday to my sister. A totally memorable visit. Villa Bordoni was recommended by my son and daughter in law who stayed there, I would and do recommend it to all my friends. Amazing place and staff.
Beautiful meal, lovely wine. We would return.
Great food and service, beautiful and quiet place!!!!
This is one of my favorite places each year. Their wine, food and olive oil makes the drive worthwhile. Best rabbit in Tuscany.
Food was good, not exceptional but good. Even though we booked through The Fork, they were unaware that we were coming, we had to eat in the bar as all the tables were booked. The wine produced by the house is very good. Overall we had a good dinner, but we expected better. Also, be prepared for a bumpy ride to the restaurant.
Hugo was amazing. All of our food was unbelievable.
Very nice food, good wine, courteous staff. We liked buratta very much, pasta with rabbit.
Very nice place, food quality below the average, poor service.
What a dinner, what a night, what a view, (what a road ????)... awesome from the first second to the last. A truly unforgettable experience.
The food was good and fairly priced. Service was good and the waiters was all doing a good job. Slightly far away and quite remote but worth the drive for the food and place
Have eaten at least once per year for the past 5 or so years @ Bordoni. Last year was not as good as prior experiences and this year was a further deterioration. Service is friendly but staff are not well trained for a restaurant of this price point (it is not a small town pizza place). We experienced the service in a restaurant with a mere 16 clients as very slow and not at all attentive (no one asked why our glasses of E10 wine were hardly touched at the end of the meal (it was awful). Pasta serving sizes were adequate but the meat (lamb and pork) were minimal (100 gms or less). I used to have no problem recommending this establishment but surely do after last night. Perhaps management is spread too thin with the opening of Panzano and, what I believe is, one other restaurant in the area?
Food was excellent and stmodphere
Very nice restaurant, excellent food. We sat in the garden what was really nice. Service nice but you can see that they are too busy and have to work too hard. Even that they are friendly and try hard,,you can feel there is a lot of pressure on them. Really think this restaurant needs one person more to help out. Atmosphere is very nice, food fabulous
The meal was outstanding. We had about a 2hour dinner for two, beginning with a bottle of their vineyards Chianti Classico. We started with the burrata and the beef carpaccio, amazing in every way and SO fresh! We each had pasta for our entree, I the tortellini and he had the cavatelli with shrimp - both perfect and good portions, we certainly could have had either a secondi or a dessert afterward, and we chose dessert! He had the cheese platter which was impressive and delicious, great selection of cheese and toppings! I had the millefoglie which was absolutely out of this world!! So fresh with the raspberries and cream, I could not have been happier. Every dish that we saw come out of the kitchen was drool-worthy and we would certainly come back if we had more time in Chianti! The service was wonderful and so friendly, and the garden setting was gorgeous. We had the pick of the place at 7:30 but it quickly became crowded afterward, so I’d recommend a reservation. You will not be disappointed!
Food and service outstanding
Wonderful evening in this quaint restaurant with exceptional service and excellent food
We had a wonderful lunch at Bordoni. The food was delicious, the service attentive and friendly and the setting was stunning. Would definitely return.
Parel in de CHIANTI.....prijs/kwaliteit : Super. Michelin wake up????????
Very unique. 12 room hotel in unique villa at the end of a narrow gravel road. Very friendly staff. Food was outstanding. We arrived early for dinner and they were very accommodating. Bar and dining room maintained the historical atmosphere. We didn't stay overnight but would expect them to be historical but comfortable. Need to be ready for narrow roads. Very much off the beaten path. Quiet and very peaceful.
An excellent evening in a pleasant surroundings with attentive and informed service.
A great place and a fabulous restaurant
A piece of heaven in Tuscany. Beautiful and magical place, very well decorated. A real gem and a charm. The meal was great, work of an inventive chef that keep the essence of the real Tuscany food. Five stars.
