Such a beautiful setting with breathtaking views. The meal was delicious and very high quality. It was so nice to meet the chef when he came and talked to every table. I would Definitely recommend visiting the restaurant and we would also like to stay next time.

I returned to Villa Ducale because I was here 8 years ago, and the experience was great. After climbing endless steps - I recommend you take a taxi or even the bus - I had an excellent dinner with my mate. The restaurant is still particularly good, and the ambiance is romantic as the views are amazingly charming. Since the hotel is off the track is always easy to reserve a table. The prices are not the lowest in town, but the quality makes it worth, and you do not have to dispute a table with crowds of tourists.

Beautiful venue with amazing food and service. It has a really calm, friendly feel and the view was incredible. The chef came out to chat to us which was a lovely touch. I would recommend this restaurant.

First and foremost, this restaurant is magical. It has one of the best views and ambience and the service is supreme. The only thing that let it down were the two dishes I had. I had the smoked swordfish and tuna for starter and the fillet steak for the main. Both dishes were delightful apart from the over use of garnish. For example, the swordfish and tuna starter, lovely, but the ginger significantly overpowers the dish. (Julienned ginger over the top of the dish) The fish and the rest of the dish are sublime and a hint of ginger really would have set it apart. But the overpowering of the ginger bulldozed the other flavours and made for an unpleasant experience overall. The same with the fillet steak, slices of truffle atop the steak end up overpowering the dish and resulting in the overall taste being affected. This is a very specific review of those two specific dishes which were, the most expensive dishes on the menu. The ambience, location, service and general experience was incredible, I would just use a little less garnish or, in the instance of the steak, incorporate the truffle into the potato or sauce rather than shavings on top of the steak. Overall it was a good experience but for me and my palate, not worth the €155.

Francesco, Max and Santina really were wonderful and attentive! They recommended the best dishes and perfect wine! The view is the best in all of town. The food was wonderful! They spoke English but were patient with our broken Italian. Truly a beautiful place. Parking was easy on the street. The hotel looked amazing. Looking forward to staying there some time.

Rätterna var väldigt små. Fisken var torr och ganska smaklös. Ingen sås eller olja som kunde smörja maten. Köttet var ganska mört men inte så mört vi hade förväntat oss på en sådan restaurang. Ingen sås till köttet heller. Raviolin var mycket fin. God skaldjursås och ganska smakrika räkor. Dock kunde balans med syra, fett och sälta vara betydligt bättre. Personalen var slöa och nonchalanta. Skulle inte rekommendera någon att gå hit.

The most wonderful panoramic view of the coast hinterland south of Taormina. A clear view of Etna with smoke billowing from the crater. The food was delicious. We chose grilled sea bass and pork. They were cooked to perfection. The chef was engaging and informative.
