About the restaurant Village d'Ung

CUISINE ASIATIQUE – Situé à deux pas des Champs-Elysées à Paris, le restaurant Village d’Ung propose une carte double, chinoise et thaïlandaise. Les deux chefs en cuisine se partagent la réalisation de plats typiques de la cuisine asiatique, fins et parfumés.

CÔTÉ TABLE – Pour les mets chinois, on craque pour le canard épicé sauté aux légumes, les nems au poulet ou encore le filet de sole au gingembre. Pour la cuisine thaïe, on retient le poulet à la noix de coco servi dans une demi noix de coco, ou la fondue aux fruits de mer, originale à souhait.

CÔTÉ DÉCO – Au restaurant Village d’Ung, pas de néon blafard, de nappes en papier ou de tableau cascade lumineux... mais un décor de bois sombre, de bibelot précieux et d'aquariums habilement mis en valeur. Romantique à souhait !

We really go cery often to this restaurant and this time we were really disapponted. They forgot the curry in the chicken curry (it tasted only cocunut milk) and didn’t want to change it. I think i’ll give one last chancd

Une belle carte, la qualité des mets, de belles présentations dans l'assiette, un service attentionné, un cadre remarquable et chic (belle décoration avec un mélange de classique et d’œuvres d'art plus moderne). Tout est réuni pour passer une excellente soirée.

Nous avons été bien accueillis, même si on sent que les clients la fourchette ont un accueil particulier (on a beaucoup insisté sur le fait que nous devions prendre 2 plats minimum au moment de l'entrée). Mais service rapide est plutôt attentif, mets plus tendance chinoise que thaï mais très bons, déco assez originale, un très bon rapport qualité prix dans le quartier.

The food is very good. The service however was a little bit off they kept repeting "you guys booked on the fork". She even let us understood we'll have less on our plate because our meal was "booked on the fork"

Food Ok, service average and without a smile. When I received the bill, no discount as per The Fork 30% off food if booked through trip advisor. When I queried the discount, they didn't even know I booked through trip advisor! They gave me 10
Euros back, less than the 30%.
Nice looking resturaunt inside and out just a shame about the above.
