Our dinner at Vin We was simply delightful. The food was fantastic and the proprietor was wonderful. Highly recommended!!!

The Haitian owner is very proud and knowledgable about her culture. She offers authentic creole cuisine in an intimate restaurant with very lovely Haitian table settings from Jacmel, works by Haitian artists, lovely embroidered cloth napkins from Haiti, and on and on. Also, there is a real ecological commitment evident, as they used reclaimed materials to renovate the place and offer guests actual hand towels in the washroom which are neatly rolled and are used once by each patron, gathered in a bin and washed later for reuse. There is minimal paper waste in this establishment. The food and drink is all Haitian. Everywhere in the place you see Haitian creole alongside French. They play Haitian music to add to the mood. It is truly worth a visit. I will go back for sure!
