The restaurant is quite beautiful. The waitstaff were polite, attentive and professional. The food was terrific. Our party of four have been in Florence for nearly three weeks and we’ve eaten at many restaurants. This restaurant is one of the best!

Fri 4 October….With travel no matter the planning, you are always going to get duff experiences….unfortunately tonights dinner at Vineria del Re, the food when they delivered the right orders was actually pretty good…the service however, was possibly the worst I can remember….wrong orders delivered, no bread given (all Italian places give you bread), no asking if we wanted more drinks, no offering of a dessert menu and five minutes plus after asking for the bill with a half empty restaurant, my good lady had to go to the till to pay….in fairness she did give the main culprit her feedback…I hate giving poor reviews but this was exceptionally bad…the young guy in the white t shirt was an exception who dealt with his colleagues mistakes with good humour, and this review does not reflect on him

We went to have lunch during our holidays in Firenze. We decided to reserve with The Fork because we had the 20% discount on the bill (only on the food, drinks excluded). We had the discount applied, but they made it up by charging us 5€ for each coffee. No comments

We ate both lunch and dinner here on the same day because we were only in Florence for one day. We had pizza at lunch but saw a few pasta dishes we were interested in so we booked dinner reservations, too. The lunch went well and we were served by friendly servers but when we returned for dinner, our waiter appeared less than enthusiastic to be working and rather tired. He offered no additional information about anything on the menu and when I told him I was googling what “artichoke flan” was he simply left the table to go get started on our drinks. So I looked it up, but he did not tempt with any description that’s for sure. We also ordered a bottle of the only Sauvignon Blanc on the menu but by the time our pasta dishes came the wine had not yet arrived. We tried to wait to eat our dishes until wine could accompany it, however, we had to wave a server over to explain we had ordered wine. A manager (the only employee wearing a suit) explained they were out of that bottle and would we like another one. We declined since we had about two bites left of our pasta dishes and there were no other Sauvignon Blanc options. He apologized. Then our original server came over some time later to ask how everything was and collect our bowls. My daughter asked if we could please get the check and I explained we are trying to catch a train, and he asked us if we wanted dessert. We said no, and then he walked away. For the next ten minutes he continued to serve drinks and take orders at all of his other table but kept making eye contact with us but not acknowledging if he was going to get the check or not. I finally asked my daughter to get ready to go and we started standing up and collecting our things and that’s when the manager promptly appeared with our check. The really uncomfortable part about this was our server and the manager could be overheard sort of bickering when the manager found out we had not received our wine and then our server seemed insulted. At one point when they were arguing, I asked if everything was okay because our server looked so mad at us. It bexcame really awkward and I had not even complained

It was not too good because my dish (gnocci with gorgonzola cheese) was salty and without flavour. My wife's dish was ok (carbonara). The service wanted the things fastly, include my staying into the restaurant. I didn't feel the good Italian service neither the Italian's flavour. Wouldn't come back.

Buongiorno, sinceramente non riusciamo a comprendere come mai la sua esperienza nel nostro locale sia stata così negativa. Su due piatti da Lei ordinati asserisce che uno non era abbastanza saporito mentre la Carbonara di Sua moglie era perfetta. Si lamenta inoltre del servizio che a suo parere è stato troppo veloce.....Davvero non riusciamo a comprendere. Buona Giornata

Had a perfect experience by Vineria del Re. You could taste the quality in every plate. Pasta with truffle that are only sautéed in butter, the crostone with the truffled cheese and sausage and last but not least we tasted the finest meat. I cant even explain how good was the tiramisu it was like a cloud in your mouth. The selection of wines is something that you can only dream about. Thanks again to the waiters and to this amazing place that made us feel special.
