This is simply a great place. The food is excellent. I really recommend the truffle Parmazan tagliatelle, it is just amazing! And obviously the wine is amazing. They serve wines by the glass in different price ranges and if you want one can drink some wines by the glass that are truly amazing.

Warmly recommended!!

In this restaurant, you really get value for money. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality, the combinations are tasty and special but never 'experimental'. The people are dedicated.

Our lunch was Excellent (grilled sword fish) and the waiter also gets top marks. We sat in the garden and relaxed while we ate really good, carefully prepared, delicious food. I can't wait to visit this really enjoyable restaurant again.

UItstekend gegeten; ik zou het fijn vinden wanneer één sommelier of bediende de tafel krijgt toegewezen om de klantrelatie te versterken.

Excellent value for money, both food and wine wise. And both were delicious!! Pleasant and attentive staff, and a tastefully done interior (something which is not immediately obvious from the Iens photo)

I frequent Vineum. Every meal is delicious, the wine list impressive, and the service impeccable. Approaching 1 Michelin star quality in my opinion. When the weather is nice make a reservation for the garden.

Excellent food and good wine selection (although a bit expensive).
We particularly loved the Tompouce of sea bream fillet with sashimi tuna
and crispy filo pastry and the Duck’s liver and Bresaola marbré.

Nicely decorated (but noisy), centrally located Vineum replaced Enoteca as a restaurant with a seriously good wine list which serves food to match. Sadly, unlike its predecessor which made a point of serving extremely high quality ingredients simply prepared to compliment the wines on offer, the food now does not live up to expectations. We chose the 4 course menu (€41) : chopped scallops in their shell were dry and badly overlooked, followed by either mussels, simply prepared in a very small amount broth, no complaints there but we could have done with more juice or tagliatelle which was neither good to look at or eat. The turbot chosen to replace the menu's chicken, was the restaurant's most expensive dish and extremely disappointing - a good portion of this King of fishes was again overlooked & dry and accompanied by a range of beige, bland vegetables covered with savings of sawdust like truffle ... awful. Others in our party stuck to the menu and had the baby chicken, both grilled and confit-ed : a minuscule unexciting portion served with green peas. The cheese selection was adequate but those who chose the ice cream were disappointed with 2 very small scoops! The wait staff was fantastic, efficient and very helpful. The wine list remains large, varied and good but perhaps it's time to track down a new chef!

Dear ms. Manley,

With great regret our team read your review this morning. We work very hard and try to do our best for all of our guests. Normally if you are not satisfied and you tell us straight away, we can change a dish. Seeing now that basically only our cheese was to your satisfaction it saddens us hugely.

Maybe in the future you would like to try our restaurant again. We will not change our chef though...

Kind regards,

David van Steenderen
and team VINEUM
