About the restaurant Vinh Ha Long

I love this Viet joint, a simple family run resto with good quality and prices. Try either fresh or classic nam. Try their pho soup or my favorite bi bu nam bo. They are real treats.

The only good Vietnamese in town. Manzo with la lot leaves is very tasty. Same for pho, that comes in 3 different sizes. Bi bu nam bo is unforgettable- just ask for lots of cilantro.

My friend had superlative fresh spring rolls and rice tagliatelle with veggies. I had classic Vietnamese roll wrapped in lettuce leaf with fresh mint and the dish I have a dependency for: Bu bo nam bo: garlicky, extra hot and so flavorful I could faint on the spot. Delish tapioca and coconut juice for desert. My perfect meal.

it's not exactly what to expect from a typical vietnamese, but if you are not pretending too much the dishes are good enough, nice to try once.
