About the restaurant Vins et Terroirs

"ODÉON - A stone's throw from Saint Germain des Prés and Saint-Michel, one becomes infatuated with a nice façade of old-fashioned mini-inn. Once seated, you visit walls that pay tribute to legendary illustrators. Le décor est planté.

AS ITS NAME SUGGESTS - no high-sounding titles or prestidigitations: at Vins et Terroirs, one eats well in a traditional setting: kidneys, cassoulet, confit duck, etc. The portions are good and the price very reasonable for the neighborhood.

A WELL-DESERVED BREAK - visiting Paris? At Vins et Terroirs, you will find a warm atmosphere for a lunch break or to start the evening well."

We got here because Tripadvisor offered a discount and reviews where good. I must say we had an AMAZIN night.. yes AMAZING. Great food, great service and, GREAT food. We had scargots, lamb, and kidneys the price was more than great and the food, well, french, authentic and not expensive. Absolutely recomended.

Our family (parents and three boys ages 7, 9 and 11) had a lovely meal. We received immediate attention from a very kind and welcoming waitstaff. We had a range of dishes - boeuf bourgignon, canard, salade nicoise, raviolis - all of which were delicious and beautifully presented. Alas our children were too restless to allow us to stay for dessert, but what we saw being served looked delectable. All in all, a wonderful restaurant that we would be very glad to visit again! Many thanks to the restaurant for a wonderful meal.

Booked online and had a 40% discount on regular menu items. Prices were very reasonable even without the discount (for the area) but with it made the dinner excellent value. The food was very tasty, excellent service , and a wonderful cozy dining area.

Nice restaurant, our third visit. Starters (salmon, snails etc) were as good as usual. We all had been steak as main course and it was quite a disappointment. Dry, very hard to chew and simple not good quality meat. Staff offered us to have other meat dishes instead, but we didn't go for it.

Pity on the meat, everything else was fine.

We ordered steak. It was terribly tough and looked overcooked and old meat.
They offered us a replacement but we declined.
Previously the food had been good at this place so we were very disappointed.
Maybe it was because it was tourist season.....

Really lovely people. We got served really quickly and the food was amazing. We had the magret du canard, beef bourguinon and pavet steak and all were delicious! The rose wine we picked was so good and appropriate for all our dishes. The place was very clean and again the servers were attentive but smiley and lovely and we really felt like we were in a local homey place!

Quiet and nice typical ancient atmosphere , we had a romantic dinner and it was not noisy.
There are two main rooms , the table I will suggest to reserve is the one at the upper floor next to the window...
Food's prices are slightly too expensive but it is worth to book with the fork (40%) and getting normal/reasonable prices :-)
Drinks are not discounted - half bottle of mineral water costs 4€ (500cl) / a coffee costs 2,5€ (espresso)

The food was delicious at the Vins de Terroirs! It's a small, unassuming restaurant with some of the best French food we had! We highly recommend this place. Such fabulous service and amazing food.

Everything was fine, except that they charged 4€ for a carafe of tap water without warning. We have eaten in many Paris restaurants, and this has never happened to us.

Great traditional, typical regional French dishes. Cooked well, served with a smile and accompanied by great classic wines at very acceptable prices. Many good wines served by the glass. Great location and warm welcoming atmosphere. Booked because of reviews and not disappointed
