About the restaurant Viridiana Abraham García

Absolutely wonderful food. The gazpacho was the best I have ever eaten and the quail eggs with mushroom sauce and truffles may be the tastiest appetizer ever. The service was very friendly and the chef came over to greet us even though he didn’t speak English. This is a Must Go To restaurant in Madrid.

This is a really nice restaurant. Fine service and cuisine, and all of the extras that might not be anticipated, but are all the more enjoyable because of that.

great quality of dishes, surprising and very tasty variations of themes from fusion (lentil soup with asian spices as amuse-bouche) and japanese kind of dish( sashimi-like raw fish with fruity sauce) to Spanish arroz.

What a fantastic restaurant. The service was impeccable. The two appetizers that came "on the house" were great. My wife's coconut curry lamb and my Iberico pork cutlet were to die for. A definite must stop for anyone wanting a great meal in Madrid.

Small restaurant, at least at ground level where we were,( some space downstairs). Nice decor. Food was really excellent. One for something diffent though. We were served a gaspacho as a taster, - not asked or charged for, - very good. We were then served anchovies with salad and a marvellous spicy dressing. Again not asked for or charged for. My pasta starter was split between myself and my wife. Pasta with goats cheese and pear. Delicious, but we could not eat this between us. My pork and my wife's steak were lovely, but beware the sauce for the steak. Chocolate based and not one for us, regardless of South American tastes. No room for desert, but hey we got yet more free nibbles to share. Excellent meal

Arrived at restaurant at 8:30 pm. The main floor was empty. We were escorted to the basement along with what appeared to be all the other foreigners having dinner at the restaurant. As we left we observed the main floor dining room full of "locals". Hate being treated like second class tourists. Too bad because the food was good.
