About the restaurant Viva Mascaraque

Very nice restaurant. Friendly staff. Interesting menu. Careful about allergens (I have many). They are listed in the menu and the waitress also double checked. Location is on a quiet side street just off a main thoroughfare in an interesting area

I went with my two children for tapas and found the restaurant tucked down a side street. We were given delicious aperitifs with our drinks, and when the tapas came, each dish was a work of art. Stunning presentation and every one delic. My son said it was the best food he had ever had. He chose the lamb charcoal grilled, and bravas with duck, both beautiful. The soda bread was fresh and delicious served hot in a brown paper bag. The star tapas dish for me was the manchego and olive bread- we will come back to Valencia just for that. Highly recommend booking a table.

The food and staff at Viva Mascaraque was perfect as always. I had organized the dinner for 23 international friends....some of whom are expats living in Valencia while others are world travellers. In spite of the size of our group, the service was timely and the food beautifully prepared and delicious. Thank you Jose Luis! I will definitely continue to make Viva Mascaraque a special stop at my events.

Lovely food, service and everything was a bit unusual and different! Slightly more pricey than I'd have liked but it was quality. Go for a few tapas and a drink and you'll really enjoy.

If we could give the service and mood more than a five out of ten, we would. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive with a good sense of humour. We were also given an extra two tapas on the house which was an unexpected tasty surprise. They are a relatively new place, but we would definitely recommend you try them out.

Started off string , but some dishes were over salted and too oily. The albondigas had to be sent back as they were undercooked and inedible. The service was top notch; however, and the staff was sincere about ensuring satisfaction. They brought an extra dish of our choice for the inconvenience.
