Highly recommended. First class dining in the heart of Cairns. I am a regular diner at this restaurant and will be back again. Great three course menu option which includes a drink and three courses.

Been here before. Not disappointed then, and certainly not tonight. Excellent food. Great atmosphere ( balcony table). Service exceptional, especially in relation to accomodating my wife’s fructose and lactose intolerances. Thoroughly recommend Vivaldis

A surprising find on the Esplanade in Cairns, with a great balcony with a view and fantastic, friendly service. The food was tasty and fresh with a lovely French flavour. The only sad thing was to hear that it's about to close, which will be a loss to Cairns.

Our meals were sensational! It is the very first time I've had a steak cooked exactly as I requested.....medium rare, but more rare than medium. I was in heaven! My husband enjoyed a large lamb shank meal, with the meat just falling off the bone. Service was professional, but friendly & unobtrusive. How does one convey the experience of exceptional excellence? Vivaldi's!!!!

The food was absolutely delicious - couldn’t fault it at all. On the slightly more expensive side but not massively so. Wait staff were friendly and welcoming and great ambience. Wine list had a great variety including French wines. Unfortunately we waited over an hour for our food only to find out they hadn’t put it through properly. So this was disappointing - however the manager gave us our drinks for free as compensation and was very apologetic. If I didn’t have kids with me who were getting very very restless it probably wouldn’t of mattered as much but it did put a dampener on the whole evening. I would definitely return but not take kids again as it wasn’t overly family friendly.

I hate to hurt people's feelings, so I don't usually leave negative reviews. The services is good enough, but really, the food is stuck in another time - 1980's?? The four of us didn't complain - what was the point, if this is what they do? But when I quietly asked our friends if they were 'enjoying' their meals, they just barely could say 'oh yeah, it's fine.' (meaning, it's awful). I got a more honest appraisal when I was just with my partner on the way home: "Was that as bad as I think is was?" I'll leave it at that.

This was a meal to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday and it was truly memorable. The food was great, the service fantastic, even up to the apartment on the desert. It was also great in the middle of a Melbourne winter to sit outside in Cairns!

Vivaldis was the perfect restaurant for taking Mum out for her birthday. The food was amazing, the staff were silver service & the evening view of Cairns was enchanting. Comments all round was that it was the perfect evening for our small gathering.

We decided to spontaneously have dinner at Vivaldi and we are very glad we did. The service was exceptional and food was delicious, presented well and served quickly. Totally recommend a visit to this restaurant!

Not many restaurants in Cairns produce really good food like this ….well this and C’est Bon. Frankly both would stand up in any major city in the world along side any other top restaurants. One (two) not to miss.

Hidden gem… every dish our group of 3 had was delicious, which were the cauliflower soup, bao buns, steak, pork belly and mussels. I’d recommend ordering the chips for the mussels, as the side bread served wasn’t all that great. Their spicy margarita was perfect to wash it all down with. Only complaint I would have is that the food took long to be served. Would def go back again though.

For a romantic night out the tables are too big and the service was way just too fast. I was disappo i need with the mussels when I was served several that had not opened whilst cooking but had been forced open after by the chef. Due to the terrible taste of the off seafood I was unable to finish my dinner, which was pricey.

Good food and service quick but not very busy at all. Waiter arrogant, asked for chilli's to come separate rather than in the entree which was supposedly not a problem and just got brushed off with the wave of a hand when it didn't happen and we pointed it out. Have lost at lease four furture customers because of this. However food was good. Compliments to chef. Dont touch the toilet entry doors with your hands though, Guys please wipe the doors at least if not for covid, then just visual effects. Thanks

My wife and I had been to Vivaldis in 2020, and at that time everything was excellent. Our visit in 2021 was a bit disappointing, as it just wasn't as good. My wife had the Coral Trout, and it was served as a 6cm thick piece, not like the rather nice fillet which she was expecting. I had the beef "eye fillet" which unfortunately was just not particularly good. Maybe the butcher had a bad day or something, but it wasn't as good as it should have been. We had enjoyed a very nice cocktail and some wine so overall the experience wasn't a complete let down, just disappointing.

This restaurant was a great find. Initially were a little concerned about it being inside a hotel however after the amazing service, delicious drinks and mouth watering food it was no issue in the slightest. We were out on the deck and LOVED every second of our experience! Kudos to the amazing staff!

Good location, great value for money. Very considerate wait staff and good food. Good venue for our wedding anniversary celebration. Portion size was ideal for me as a 90+ kilo male and generous for my wife. Would very definitely recommend this place and intend to return

Table of 4- loved the mushroom arancini for entire & the steak cooked perfectly for main. 2 of my friends said the prawn entree was a bit chewy but everything else was Amazing thank you ????

We have not been to Vivaldi’s for maybe five years, but we will not leave it that long for a return visit, great customer service and friendly staff, we all had the set menu which was exceptional value, plus great tasting dishes. Lovely setting with a lovely breeze coming through for outdoors dining. Very satisfied customers were we.????

Recommended to us by friends at the Wolf Distillery, and we were not disappointed. Next visit to Cairns Vivaldi will be on our ‘must visit’ again list.
