2018 Regional Chef of the Year, Santi Fernandez is known for his ‘wine-first’ menu design, creating dishes that match the Voyager Estate wines in the best way possible, utilising contemporary cooking style and techniques. Santi’s philosophy is to create food based in the region – or food du terroir – through the use of produce that is seasonal and ethically sourced. It mirrors the Voyager Estate philosophy of producing wines that celebrate their unique sense of place in Margaret River.

    We have an excellent 7 course degustation with matching wines. The food was outstanding and service particularly Summer was superb. Definitely an all round wonderful experience.

    This is an experience restaurant. Degustation with matched wines if desired. A beautiful setting and fantastic food, especially the marron. Excellent service with advice on alcohol and driving. Definately recommended.

About the restaurant

While exploring the premium wine-producing region of Margaret River, why not indulge in a unique journey of discovery with Voyager Estate’s wine-inspired Discovery Menus.

Its 7-course Discovery Menu is the signature experience; each course is inspired by one of the Voyager Estate wines. Head chef, Santiago Fernandez and his team also take inspiration from the vineyards and winemaking process in creating dishes that bring a small part of the Estate to the table.

The 4-course Discovery Menu is a taster of the 7-course, allowing those with limited time to choose some of their courses, either matched to our recommendations or selected from our extensive wine list.

Voyager Estate was awarded Regional Restaurant of the Year and Regional Chef of the Year at the 2018 WA Good Food Guide Awards.

The team recommends each course as a journey of discovery but if you want a sneak peak, indicative menus are available. The menus change every two months so they may not be the menu presented on the day of your visit.

Sit back in comfortable wingback armchairs and allow the afternoon to pass by in the elegant setting. And if you're visiting during the warmer months, don't miss the chance to walk off your lunch by taking in the expansive views of the vineyard and impressive kitchen garden.
