Great food, fine wine and a good ambiance. We had a group of 10 and selected from the fish, meat, or vegetarian price fix menu. We chose this restaurant as one of our travelers is very gluten sensitive and Wapo was perfect for her. We enjoyed.

Wapo is my wife’s and my new favorite restaurant. The food was incredible!! This place would be Michelin starred if they cut their portions by 75%, increased their prices by 300% and added a few more edible flowers to their dishes (if this upsets you, go try it. I dare you to say otherwise). The staff was perfect and offered perfect wine pairings for our meal. We enjoyed a few antipasti (tartare of beef, and poached egg with Jerusalem artichoke and ricotta) a primi to share (gnocchi with salicornia, truffle and lemon), and secondi (duck with grandmarnier and berries and salt cod with orange and finocchio cream) as well as a couple deserts and aperitifs. Each dish was crafted masterfully without being over complicated and the kitchen staff at Wapo is only paralleled by the service staff.We will be back to Wapo during every trip to Naples. If we didn’t discover this restaurant on our last night in Naples, we would have returned the following night. Thank you Wapo staff!!

Maybe the best food we had in our three week trip. In Italy. There are a thousand restaurants all serving the same menu in Napoli, this is not one of them., yet it is still Italian in every way.. this place would sell out every night if it were in Roma. We will definitely be back.

This is an all round fantastic restaurant - if you’re in Naples it’s a must visit. The service is excellent, the wait staff are very welcoming, attentive and make you feel incredibly special. The food is outstanding and the wine selection was extensive but also easy to choose the kind you like. We had a very delicious meal with a number of extra chef special dishes (including a complimentary glass of Prosecco to start and limoncello to finish). We can’t recommend this place enough, incredibly high standard food and staff!

All dishes except the codfish were very good The codfish was wa too well done, maybe the vacuum cooking/baking is simply not the right way to prepare the fish. Also the vegetables served with it were almost uncheweable and hard to swallow. We definitely don't recommend this dish. The desserts were a bit undewhelming, somewhat very standard, nothing special. all other dishes were fine to the maximum. Setting and service are beautiful and nice, as you'd expect it in a restaurant on that level.

Dear Christoph, we are so sorry you didn’t appreciate the consistency of our codfish and vegetables. What you describe is not the way we serve them to our customers who usually appreciate our steam or low-temperature cooking. In particular fish dishes are our best- seller. As to the dessert we can’t remember what you ordered but in case you should decide to visit us again (we hope so) you can be sure you will not be disappointed. See you next time.

Modern, comfortable, excelent food, excelent service, we had a great dinning experience. We where the only "tourists", the room was mostly filled with couples and grups of friends, clearly all locals.
