Nice dinner for our multi cultural group of 16 people! It was very well noted, that the variations of different food met everyones taste. Next time, if we are in Schiedam, we looking forward to look in again.

Had lunch there on 01.08 Nothing bad to say, all was good. Service, food, ambience was all great. There is a special offer that if its your birthday then you eat for free, it was mine so it was half price. We would happily eat there again paying normal prices. We will return soon.

Unfortunately my partner & I found the quality of the food to be well below average especially for the price. The restaurant itself is well decorated but has a very peculiar odour (maybe due to its newness) and the seating felt rather tight ,however more space between tables to allow for customers to comfortably come and go without infringing on someone elses table/meal would mean less seating and therefore less income, so I get it, but still worth a mention. The staff were very friendly although there is no real service to speak of as this is more a self-service type of restaurant but the interactions we did have were pleasant enough. As our plates were being collected we were asked if we enjoyed our meal but I felt that saying no would have been pointless as it is not like the food is individually prepared, so in all honesty despite our disappointment they were not given the opportunity to respond or change our dining experience.
It is buffet style food which at first glance looked impressive and varied so we were really looking forward to the all you can eat concept (some exceptions) however the taste/quality just wasn't there for us and we left disappointed with little intention of returning. I cannot comment on the wok station as neither my partner nor I tried this but we did sample some of the other food stations. In short, the sushi was very bland, the crab legs and the oyster (2 per person) was so terrible that for the first time ever in a restaurant, I actually had to spit it out!! The lobster (1 half tail per person) was barely warmed through, tough and also tasteless. My partner had the salmon from the grill station which he also did not finish due to lack of taste but at least compared to reviews from their other locations he did not have to wait in line for it to be cooked. In fact the lines were small and seemed to have a steady flow so for those concerned about waiting time eating up your dining time (as that is what you are paying for) it doesn't appear to be a problem here although our reservation was for 8:00 pm and the restaurant was not at full capacity. The desert station had a reasonable selection, some of which were okay but the poffertjes and pancakes which I don't mind being a bit doughy, were actually under-cooked. Had the quality of the food been much better then the price would appear more reasonable but considering the amount of food that was either bland or just plain awful, it definitely feels overpriced. It is unlikely we will return but we also understand that with it being a new location it could just be teething problems as this location has only been open a couple of weeks at most and may just be worth another try in 6 months or so.
