The Wellington Lounge is an ideal meeting place for an early morning coffee and pastries, award-winning Afternoon Tea or an all-day-menu featuring classic seasonal dishes.
Standing proudly on the former site of 145 Piccadilly; Her Majesty the Queen's former childhood home. The Wellington Lounge pays respect to its heritage by offering traditional Afternoon Tea with a modern twist for an experience fit for royalty. Our team has created an extensive menu of teas with the East India Company, complementing the various dishes available. Blending the best of tradition with contemporary twists, the menu presents a style to suite all tastes.
A semi-private corner lounge is available to accommodate small events and group reservations of 15 people or less.
To celebrate InterContinental Hotels & Resorts’ 75th Diamond Anniversary, artist Claire Luxton has created a spectacular installation – a 20m projection which wraps around our hotel. The installation showcases Claire’s wildlife aesthetic where each bird, butterfly, and botanical is inspired by worldwide InterContinental destinations. Featuring seasonal sandwiches, scones with homemade preserves, and elegant cakes and pastries – all served with a pot of our uniquely blended No.1 Park Lane tea.
