We visited Wienerwald for lunch on a Sunday in November. It was packed, and we weren't too sure about our dining choice... However, I have to say that the Romanian waiter (speaking multiple other languages—quite impressive) serving us made our day! He gave good food recommendations and made sure we had a great experience. If we return to Vienna, we'll drop by to say 'Hi.'

We made a reservation but when we got there we were told it was not the restaurant but another store, but I was pretty sure it was this address. So I didn't get the discount for The fork when I paid the bill. Also I ordered a non alcoholic beer but when I was halfway through it I found out it was alcoholic beer. Terrible service.

The worst experience I had in a restaurant in a while. Super hot inside when there was an empty room with AC on that they didn't let us use. We had a problem with the The Fork discount and they were super intransigent and rude about it. The staff yelled at us and called us names in German which they thought we wouldn't understand. Overall horrible, don't go there.

They give 20% discount and not 30% which is ok but then why writing 30% on the application?? Also 20 minutes to wait a waiter to come take the order! And another 20 to receive the food.. 10 to get the bill. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The food was excellent and all plates were very big. We got the ribs and three snitchels with french fries. What was excellent was the service. Our waiter was very kind and helpful when we ordered and engaged us in pleasant conversation. At the end of our meal they brought us a dessert which they brought as a gift. Thr dessert was a traditional viennese one and was wondweful.

Food was good and in good portions. There was a nice terrace and the location is very close to the cathedral, on a walking street. The (pork or turkey) Schnitzel XXL with two sides was tasty and big enough for two good eaters. The Goulasch was tasty. Service was friendly and helpful. However, I reserved with a 30% and the waiter explained that they were only able to make a 20%. We had chosen our menu and waited for a while, so we stayed anyway. It is the first time I don't get the offer, and I am a regular The Fork user.
