now under new ownership this resturant has really improved since our last visit. The menu is now better as its been reduced so it's now quality rather than quantity. prices on drinks are now very reasonable. It was quiet but we dinned early. recommend cheese plater and cataplana both to share.

Food was excellent. The menu was to our liking but felt it could have been a little more extensive for others e.g. this is not a place that we will be bringing our grandchildren. Restaurant has a lovely, calm ambience. Really liked the decor and the lighting. The waiter who served us was lovely. Very pleasant and polite. However, we felt the service was poor. Not due to this man, I stress, he simply had too much to do. Showing people to tables, taking orders for food and drinks and serving people their food. Fortunately we arrived early and were attended to quickly. However, from about 7.30 it started to get busy and we noted that some diners who had come in later had been at their tables for about half an hour without even being provided with a drink. Sadly some people left before ordering. This is a lovely place, with excellent food that we can’t get at other restaurants. More staff needed and better organisation by management.

Very nice environment. The service is very attentive. The cuisine is delicious, and the chef is Italian. Highly recommended.
